This Workshop focuses on Mindfulness/Positive therapy/Relaxation and what Ruth calls Communicology.

You will cover these topics :

Individual Impact – where are you now?

Exploring your Signature Strengths

Then learn Specific Skills around Confidence/Impact & Style:
- Relaxation & Breathing techniques
- Voice – confidence, projection, how you sound to others
- Style - body Language (also called non verbal communication)

Find out about a Mindful Thinking approach for everyday situations. This is about thinking differently & seeing events through a different lens..

Situational Communication: Performance Anxiety/ Presentation Skills, Dealing with Difficult people & implementing Ruth’s Rehearsal Strategy!

During the Workshop you will develop your own virtual Kit Bag of strategies to take-away and use in daily life.

Finally engage in a short session where you focus on your individual Communication Plan and decide what you want to develop in your style and impact as a communicator.

You will feel in your comfort zone (slightly stretched of course!) and enjoy this course while considering, consolidating and developing your strengths.

The Workshop uses the outdoor environment at Champ de la Grange to strengthen your learning. You will enjoy a relaxed Workshop and leave with an individual Communication Plan.
Other things to note
If you are attending an individual session then Ruth will ask you about what you are hoping to gain from the session. The session can be adapted to focus on Mindful Living or Communication Coaching to empower you to strengthen specific communication skills.

I worked in the NHS for 34 years before starting a new life in Indre. I worked with adults who stammered or had voice difficulties. Now I want to share my knowledge/ skills supporting communication more widely. Many of us are a little insecure about presenting/leading meetings. Or we wish our voice was a different pitch, we could speak a little louder or sing just a little.

I call this Communicology and training isn't easily available. Courses are designed in a bespoke way, giving confidence with an informal ,yet analytical approach.

I began using mindfulness / positive therapy several years ago. Living Mindfully everyday to reduce stress. Positive Therapy (what makes us happy) research is part of courses. You can visit for a Mindful Morning session or longer course of 2 days.

The course takes place at Champ de la Grange in a hamlet in the countryside in Indre. The garden is the perfect place for mindful moments. The teaching space is in the garden, under the canopy of an ancient oak tree or in the Herb Garden. There is a picnic table near a pond for coffee break. Lunch is on a terrace surrounded by fragrant herbs like Lavender and Rosemary. If the weather is cooler then learn next to a log fire in our studio area.

Dress for the weather conditions (suntan lotion or a coat) depending on the forecast
