Qué harás

We are hosting an LGBT Walking tour of Edinburgh. We start on Bristo square were I introduce myself to the guests and we all get to know each other and share a bit about what we do in Edinburgh and why we're on the tour. Then I take them through the city telling them about the LGBT history of Edinburgh - how it was legalised, discrimination and clamping down during the 20th century, the relationship with the church of Scotland and LGBT issues, King James the 6th, LGBT rights in Scotland today and finishing in the Pink Triangle near Broughton Street.
Other things to note
The experience take place on flat ground. Guide will wear a visor and social distancing will be enforced, with masks encouraged.

I have been a tour guide in Edinburgh for almost 3 years, originally from Glasgow. I cover many sides of Edinburgh's history including the Old Town, New Town, Harry Potter and Dark History, and I have also written bespoke tours for private guests. The other guides, Johnny and Fraser, are both history graduates from Edinburgh who also have a wealth of experience in tour guiding. Together we host the True Scotsman podcast where we delve into the real story of Scotland, dissuading myths and at times challenging expectations. We've written these tours as a real labour of love, because we are truly passionate about Edinburgh and the topics we have chosen to right about, and we hope that comes across in our tours.
