We will go in busy streets, off the beaten track and we will travel in time as far as the 1600s. We'll tackle major themes such as colonization, wars between empires or the Quiet Revolution and Quebec separatism. We will talk about architecture too, and food naturally. Just a 15-minute drive from Old Quebec, come and discover l'Île d'Orléans. On electric bikes, the guide will show you the island's most beautiful village, visit a fruit farm, a winery, the local chocolate factory and more! We'll meet at Motel Ile d'Orleans, close to the bridge. Upon arrival, you'll get a detailed safety introduction, before following the guide on this easy bike tour of 20 km / 12.5 mi. We'll visit the Foyer de Charité and taste the famous strawberries of Ile d'Orleans. I'll share fascinating details about history and local agriculture, a very important aspect of the island's economy. As we reach the picturesque village of Ste Pétronille, we'll take a quick break from cycling at the Chocolaterie de l'Ile. Stroll on the St Lawrence River's shores and enjoy the amazing view on Quebec City's skyline. We'll continue the tour and stop at a nice boutique and coffee shop. Ensuite autour d’un feu sur le bord du lac, je vous préparerez de délicieux guimauves et s’mores comme dessert et vous servirai une boisson. Sous les étoiles, autour d’une bière, nous discuterons en admirant le ciel et écouterons les sons de la nature pendant que je vous raconterai des légendes amérindiennes locales et vous parlerai de l’histoire de Québec. En bicicleta eléctrica, iremos al pueblo más bonito de la isla, visitaremos una granja de frutas, una bodega y la fábrica de chocolate local. Nos reunimos en mi motel en la Isla de Orleans, cerca del puente. A tu llegada, recibirás una introducción detallada de seguridad, antes de seguirme en este fácil recorrido en bicicleta de 20 km / 12,5 millas. No hay carril bici, utilizaremos la acera segura de la carretera. Visitaremos los jardines italianos de Porteous Manor y probaremos las famosas fresas de Ile d'Orleans. Te contaré detalles fascinantes sobre la historia y la agricultura local, un aspecto muy importante de la economía de la isla. Vous découvriez en balade nos belles montagnes des Appalaches en selle avec un cheval docile et bien entrainé. D'abord, chaque client est jumelé avec un cheval selon sa taille et son expérience. Vous allez avoir la chance de créer un lien de confiance avec lui en le brossant. Une fois que tout le monde a leur casque, nous quittons l'écurie pour aller aux manèges. Une fois sur votre cheval et les étriers ajustés, nous vous donnons une petite formation sur les techniques de conduite. Le manège clôturé est l'endroit idéal pour que chacun puisse tester ses nouvelles connaissances en équitation. Après cette initiation, nous partons pour la balade dans nos magnifiques sentiers champêtres. À mi-chemin, nous arrêtons en haut de la montagne pour admirer la superbe vue. Nous terminons l'activité en remerciant notre cheval pour la belle randonnée. Si vous voulez passer plus de temps avec un cheval, nous offrons également des randonnées de 2 heures ou même d'une journée. Considérez aussi nos autres activités avec les alpagas, les chiens et les habitants de notre ferme pédagogique. Autres remarques L'activité a lieu toute l'année et à toutes températures. Seulement les enfants de 12 ans et plus sont acceptés. Pour les jeunes enfants, réservez notre activité "initiation à l'équitation". La randonnée se fait en majorité aux pas, avec un peu de trot si possible, mais généralement pas de galop.
