Our sailing experience begins at Monroe Harbor right in downtown Chicago. Guests will enjoy a captained cruise on our sailing yacht, a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 37. We will cast off and motor out to Lake Michigan where we will set sail to a favorable course. Bring your favorite food and drinks, listen to music, relax, and take in the views of our city’s iconic buildings from the lakefront. The courageous can try their hand at the helm and rigging the sails-Captain Greg is a volunteer sailing instructor for a local non-profit and enjoys sharing his knowledge. On hot days be sure to bring a bathing suit to swim in the lake to cool off. Please feel free to inquire about custom bookings. We have hosted engagements, bachelorette parties, corporate outings and many more memorable events! Things to note: Other Airbnb guests will potentially join your public booking unless you reserve the entire boat privately. There are six open spots on a first book first serve basis. Followed by a tour of the facility. After the tour we will take a 1 hour nude hike in the woods around the lake. During the hike I will explain the history of the 89 year old community. AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE HIKE YOU WILL HAVE ACCESS TO ALL OF THE AMENITIES OF THE COMMUNITY UNTIL 6:00PM (pool, hot tub, sauna, swim in the lake, stand up paddle boards, kayaks, canoes, 14 foot sailboat, or just relax with nature until 6PM. THE ENTIRE EXPERIENCE IS/CAN BE 9 HOURS, if you choose to stay and use the facilities until closing .We will provide water for the hike. Please note: this is a nude hike, so nudity is expected for this experience. The host will be nude and you must be nude to use the pool, hot tub, sauna or be in or on the lake after the hike. Each guest will go home with their very own piece of the mural to remember their night. 2. Upon entering guests can relax and enjoy our ever changing gallery. Feel free to bring a beverage. It's BYOB! Guests will unleash their inner street artist on a 50ft wall! This interactive workshop will turn guests into the artist and be guided along the way. Experimenting with lettering, stencils, aerosol, & cap technique guests will experience something truly unique. 3. Our main objective is to break down stereotypes that often are connected with spray paint. Guests will leave with curiosity and basic skills when applying aerosol to boot.

Chicago offers a lot of hidden bars for night owls. We will start the night at my favorite hidden gem in West Loop, we will spend about one hour here then head to the next bar which is an 8 minute walk. Some of the bars have secret entrances so be ready for a fun night. The bars have amazing cocktails, beers, non-alcoholic drinks, good music and a good ambiance. There are plenty of secret bars and unfortunately we cannot explore all of them in one night. However, I will share with you the location of other secret bars which you can visit later. Please be advised that drinks or food are NOT included. This is not prohibition level speakeasy tour, this is a chill bar hopping experience. I was not born in the early 1900s and don’t know anything about prohibition so don’t ask. Have a drink and relax. Please note the experience time says it lasts 3 hours but you are welcomed to stay at the bars as long as you like. We begin your tour at our office, the oldest building in the Ottawa Historic District and the last remaining wood structure. Our first stop is a saloon that has retained its beautiful 1890's interior Here our story of corruption and malfeasance we will begin to unfold as you imbibe in a vino or beverage of your choice. The city of Ottawa had some corruption during prohibition, and we will hear it unfold throughout the evening. We will meet the characters who played a part in this corruption. The evening unfolds at two more saloons. Drink specials are available at some locations. By the end of the night, you'll feel as though you've lived through the dark days of prohibition in the heart of Starved Rock Country.

A fun and historical walk through the world famous Art Institute of Chicago. This is a museum I know so well I can walk you around with my eyes closed - but don't worry I won't! I love art and art history, but I try not to take everything TOO seriously, as I show you some of the world's greatest art, and also make jokes along the way. You will learn the history of the museum itself as well as the history of the pieces in it. The galleries house everything from Oil Paintings to miniatures and everything in history from ancient Greek and Indigenous creations to early contemporary masterpieces: Plato to Picasso.* We will meet in front of the Art Institute of Chicago. Based on your interest, I can procure a specific walk for you. Otherwise I will take you through the galleries, starting on the second floor with the Renaissance and ending at the Impressionists. The Tour itself will last 1.5 hours, from 3PM-4:30 PM. At that time I can lead you to a specific place, end at the gift shop, or let you have time to explore on your own. There are reading rooms, food markets and peaceful places to sit and take it in. *Please note: If your only interest is Contemporary art I would not suggest this tour, but you can include it in your last half hour No food, uncovered drinks (only bottled water) or Backpacks in the museum.
