Further along the street is R Carter & Daughter Food Emporium which sells takeaway food. In Seahouses there are several pubs and Fish and Chip restaurants. ”

Centro comercial
“Avoid the city centre and the nightmare of parking to do your shopping! The Gateshead Metro Centre is a lovely large mall with all the main chain stores like M&S, Next, Debenhams, Primark, TKMaxx and Boots, in addition to numerous boutiques and dozens of restaurants. There is also a massive ten screen cinema attached. There's a kiddy train that drives around the mall and comfortable seating spread throughout to take a little break from shopping. Outside of the mall is a retail park with a 24 hour Asda, Ikea and other big stores.”
