“North end. This little restaurant has an ambience you won’t find anywhere else!! It is located waterfront on chimney creek. Not only is it beautiful but they have TONS of alligators in captivity that you can feed treats to off of long bamboo poles. I grew up catching blue crab and coming home and eating them right on the dock. This atmosphere is the closet way for a guest to experience that nostalgia. All the food is steamed. You’ll be going for the overall experience. I’m Not a huge fan of their sides, but the seafood is always spot on. Expect crowds. Call Ahead if available. ”

“North end. Walk by beach if the tide is low and outgoing and only during complete daylight. This could be dangerous if tide is not timed correct as parts of the beach sand cover completely at points of dangerous rip currents that can knock an adult off their feet. nice bike ride via the road Highly recommend this restaurant during all seasons. Often have live music on the deck. Carribean vibe. I always order the vegetarian plate. It consists of different veggies different ways per season. So good to the meat eater as well as vegetarian. After your meal, walk out to the beach and ask someone to take your picture w the sea outs, dunes and lighthouse in the background. Easy beach access w the mobi mats. The jetty rocks at low tide offer the chance to dip a crab with a scoop net. Be mindful of the swift and dangerous water currents in this area. We do not swim in this area. Restaurant Also located walking distance to lighthouse. Climb up for breathtaking aerial views. Minimal fee and well worth the money. If you do not fear heights, I highly recommend. Allot one hour. Fort Screven museum is directly behind the restaurant and holds lots of historical information. The general neighborhood in this area of Tybee is full of historical Preservation. The Tybee island marine science center is also at side of restaurant. Worth the visit and information. A lot twenty minutes. ”

“If you’re ever stranded on a boat in a rainstorm on your way to Wassaw Island (somehow that always happens when you’re out sailing with us…) A-J’s is the place to stop for a beer. You can tie your boat, kayak, or whatever you have up at the dock and then get a great bloody mary! ”

“Tybee Bakery and Cafe Miss Korea are probably in the top 10 of my favorite places in Savannah! Miss Korea goes by reservation only, rarely serves more than 6 guests at a time, and cooks what she wants for you. Yes you read that correctly. No menu. You tell her what you *Do Not Eat*, and she shops for you, and prepares a custom meal unique to you. I'm sure you could make requests, but what's the fun in that? :) Her food is delicious, and you feel like a privileged guest to eat in the cafe. TIP - Do NOT skip Dessert!!! I talk about her partner, Simon, the owner and head Baker of the Tybee Bakery and his skillful creations in the just Desserts section. These two are a knockout culinary duo! Just Go.”
