The library has one of the finest genealogical collections in Southern Maine, as well as town histories. Open Tuesdays and Fridays, 10am-5pm, with DIY History Games on Saturday 10am-1pm ($5/family), or by appointment. All areas are handicapped accessible.

Visit Fort McClary (fee of $1-3 to be left in dropbox) to see a beautifully restored hexagonal blockhouse. Next to it are a magazine and a brick rifleman’s house. Granite blocks from abandoned construction are scattered along the seashore.

Visit the Molly Trolley Depot on Route 1, Ogunquit. There is free short term and paid all day parking. Here you can grab a bite to eat, shop and then get on the trolleys or even rent a bicycle! Ogunquit and Wells have separate trolley lines, but you can easily transfer trolleys. Ogunquit trolley rides are a small fee per person. In Wells, kids ride free.
