Mexicanized Italian cuisine. As an Italian, I wouldn't recommend this to other Italians because they changed traditional recipes to be more appealing to Mexican and Tourists, but in general, you can eat fairly good food for a very honest price. If you are not a purist of Italian cusine, this is a decent restaurant.

Supermarket
Definitely the best supermarket in the area. A bit more expensive than the competition, but totally worth it. The bakery, fruit and vegetables, meat and fish, imported goods, everything is top quality. There is also a cafè inside where I go when I feel like having an Italian style breakfast. The Pain au Chocolat and Cappucino are top-notch. The staff is very friendly too.

When visiting Vallarta, you can't miss the Marietas Islands and their hidden beach. I haven't personally tried this tour, but its highly recommended by people I trust.
