Named for the historic Plaza Theater (built in 1935), the area has become a hub for creativity and a magnet for local businesses.
There’s always a line but it’s always worth it. Probably the most beloved breakfast spot in OKC. Guatemalan breakfast and craft lattes that I promise you won’t regret. My go to’s are the Migas or the Montuleno. If those weren’t so incredible I would have tried other things on the menu to recommend.

Cafe Kacao
3325 N Classen BlvdThere’s always a line but it’s always worth it. Probably the most beloved breakfast spot in OKC. Guatemalan breakfast and craft lattes that I promise you won’t regret. My go to’s are the Migas or the Montuleno. If those weren’t so incredible I would have tried other things on the menu to recommend.
It’s strange that there is such an amazing Vietnamese restaurant scene in the heart of OKC but pho is part of my weekly rotation and this spot is a great introduction. It’s a hole in the wall bare bones spot run by the cutest couple. Order the pho with thinly sliced beef and splash some Siracha and hoisin sauce to give you a sweet and spicy broth that will have you sweating in gratitude. Also probably the best hangover food you haven’t tried.

2431 N Classen BlvdIt’s strange that there is such an amazing Vietnamese restaurant scene in the heart of OKC but pho is part of my weekly rotation and this spot is a great introduction. Simply enough it’s one of Oklahoma’s oldest and famous steak houses. Absolutely full of charm. Unapologetically authentic and the steak is amazing and reasonably priced. Also order the “lamb fries” which are actually.. uhh... I’ll let you find out 😉

GUN is restaurant I can not recommend enough. This yakitori spot is my favorite restaurant in OKC.
