Simply the best ice cream you will ever eat. Just don't miss this place. I think it was recently voted #1 Dessert Shop in Ontario on Trip Advisor. Most of their ingredients are imported from Florence, Italy. TIP: They have a warm nutella fountain. Ask them to hold your waffle cone under it before they scoop the ice cream. Its to die for.

They have a good breakfast here. Only open seasonally (Summer), so check before you go. They have very good blueberry pancakes. In the dining room you have an amazing vista of the Lower Niagara River (meeting Lake Ontario) and the US.

I havent been here in over a year but used to go all the time. Scene is popular and bustling. Food is good, especially the burgers and the lobster poutine. Good patio as well.

Must buy!!! Also their chocolate chip cookies are aces. The pre made sandwiches - get the grilled veggie on veggie bread. Sweet little quaint joint.

Connected to the restaurant is a wonderful sweets shop, baked in house. They are licensed too so you can have beer or wine. Its a super casual small little country spot.

Trius is such a wonderful property. They have a great menu on their patio. Patio is of course right on the vines but it is a great little Summer spot for a perfect luncheon!

Ravine is really trendy but popular for good reason. Solid country restaurant right up on the escarpment. Good wines too. Very progressive style of menu. Lots of events going on. They have THE BEST Canada Day fireworks display. Set to live music...its divine.

Its not in NOTL, its a 15 or so minute drive into Niagara Falls but it is in the North End so not so bad. Contemporary Italian food and its good. Not a misstep on the menu but for apps, their lumace is fantastic. As is their bruscetta which is Napolitan style. For dessert, this place has the best creme brule. Good romantic dinner spot.

The Olde Angel in is a 200 year old pub. For tap selection you just cannot beat it. A warm and cozy little pub. Food is ok. Burgers are your best bet. They're actually really tasty. Best pub in town by far. A favourite spot of locals as well.

Set in an old church, this microbrewery has some of the coolest ambience around. Its a 5 minute drive up the road.

So the very best view of the Falls is right here. If you go to Table Rock, find the point along the railing where the brink of the Falls is. That very spot is where you can see the relatively calm flow of the upper river meet the insane calamity that is going over the Falls. Its a breathtaking spot.

Access to the Bruce Trail right at the West end of the Park (very cool hiking trail that sits atop the Niagara Escarpment). Climb 1000000 stairs up General Brock's Monument for another amazing vista. Very nice park. TIP: Driving up the hill from NOTL to Queenston, about 500 feet after you pass York Road intersection, you will find a little nook where you can pull over. It is the very best vista in the whole area of the Lower Niagara River, the Lower Niagara Peninsula, and the US. Go at dusk.
