This pub is just a short hop over the Mynd in Church Stretton. You are greeted and served by friendly staff in a beautiful old building with lots of nooks and crannies. There is a pretty beer garden too and the whole place is spick and span. The food is good, honest pub grub at reasonable prices and there's a fantastic selection of craft beers. Booking is essential for evening meals. Always check the opening times or ring to book a table as our local pubs sometimes close on a Monday. One of the pictures that appear in our Guidebook (automatically) is somewhat misleading as it is definitely not next to water but the photo of the entrance to the pub is accurate.

Great local pub, amazing friendly staff. For just a drink, maybe in the beer garden on a nice day, on your travels or even lunch or dinner!
