Named the best pub in Ireland by the Irish Times in 2015. A unique pub, only opens on Thursday nights, located in a traditional farmhouse kitchen in the middle of the Tipperary countryside. Run by Jim and Kae Ryan and their 5 daughters. Local musicians turn up with their instruments and the night just takes off. If you play an instrument or sing, you will be invited to join in - otherwise just soak up the atmosphere. There are no fancy beers and cocktails here, just draft Guinness, large bottles of Smithwicks ale, Bulmer's cider, whiskey, vodka and soft drinks. For directions enter "Jim o' The Mills", in Google Maps, or the Eircode "E41 D3T8" in other navigation tools. Eircode: E41 D3T8 20 mins by car from Bluebell Cottage

Hidden deep in the rolling farmland of Upperchurch, the Ryan family, led by Jim, open their home just one night of the week (Thursday) and conjure that impossible mix of music, beer, location and welcome that’s the essence of Ireland.
