A favorite destination for visitors! There's no fee to walk on the pier and explore the majestic ocean views. Originally built more than 65 years ago, the pier was rebuilt and reopened in 2019. Currently named as North Carolina's highest pier, it's open every day of the year. Purchase fishing permits at the tackle shop.

Ocean Crest Pier is a Fishing Pier. Come out and enjoy a day of fishing and no need for a fishing license. You can bring your own gear or rent it at the pier house.

Staff is really helpful - great for novices and fun to even just watch down at the end when the old pros bring in a big one! Small fee to walk the pier, you can buy a day fishing pass to fish off of the pier.

Fun Pier with activities during the weekends. Good food near by.
