a month ago Excellent start to our Sunday morning in Birmingham! Back Forty is huge and I would love to experience it at night, with the cool outdoor area, market lights and Sloss Furnace views. The ambiance is laid back and welcoming.

Back Forty is one of the only breweries in Birmingham that not only offers delicious brews, but also some tasty food alongside.

My favorite local brewery (although there are many good ones!) Their burgers and wings are both delicious and it is the perfect spot for an afternoon outside.

Distance from house: 2.4 miles; Why we like them: Serve their own very delicious food; large number of registers open where you can order drinks or food easily; large indoor and outdoor seating areas; ridiculously friendly staff; Truck Stop Honey Brown Ale and Peanut Butter Porter (our faves)
