Local safari opportunity. Catch sight of the lions and other big cats, take a drive through the grass fields with plenty of antelopes and other large game.

If you're pressed for time and cannot visit the Pilanesberg or Kruger National Park to see some of the amazing wildlife our country has to offer, the Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve is a good option. While the animals kept there aren't quite in their natural habitat and in semi-captivity, this is a much better place to visit than the zoo.

Want to see game near the city, this privately owned nature reserve is home to some endangered wild life -the white Rhino. It is home to lions, wild dogs, leopard and many more. Within this nature reserve is the wonder caves. This place all in one, it has accommodation and restaurants

This nature reserve has a creche where you can meet the baby lions, tigers and sometimes panthers up close and personal. There is also the daily feeding of the lions, cheetahs and wild dogs, which is always a great experience.
