LASSCO Brunswick House

In a Georgian mansion run by salvage merchants, Brunswick House is best known as a restaurant, but I love going there for a drink. The building, which was built for the Duke of Brunswick, has been decorated from floor to ceiling with salvaged furniture and antiques, all for sale. It has these huge chandeliers and church pews for seats. The place doesn’t stay open late, so go at the beginning of your evening and enjoy a house Brunswick martini with Monkey 47 gin, Cocchi Americano, and cherry almond liqueur. It’s a flamboyant take on something that’s normally quite unadulterated, so it matches the venue perfectly.

Amazing old building in the heart of Vauxhall (opposite the train/Tube, on the Riverside of the road. London Architect Salvage Co sells reclaimed antiques but also has a bar at the front (serving cocktails, wine, beers by 1/3rd pint, non-alcoholic drinks, bar snacks), and a restaurant where you will normally need to book, brilliant food.

A great brasserie situated in an old Manor House in the heart of Vauxhall. This Manor House doubles as an antiques show room so you can admire the antiques while you dine.
