If you are an early bird, try to get here at dawn to see the barn owls return from a nights hunting. A truly amazing sight
Just on our doorstep! Baconsthorpe Castle is a fortified manor house, now a ruin.
Baconsthorpe Castle is a ruined, fortified manor house established in the 15th century. Baconsthorpe Castle is well worth a visit, and makes for a lovely spot for a picnic on a sunny afternoon.
