This is my ‘go to’ local pub. It is possible to walk here from Swallow Cottage in around 1 hour but cycling is better. Alternatively, 10 minutes drive in the car through lovely quiet lanes. The bar is full of locals enjoying the tip top quality real ales. The restaurant serves quite typical pub food but it is fresh, tasty and well done. Last time I eat here, the deserts were obviously home made and delicious. Worth calling ahead to make a reservation.

A vibrant friendly local pub with first class food and a selection of real ales. Darts, pool table and Karaoke. This pub is fun for all ages and dogs are welcome too
