Vimala and her husband started cooking out of their home - for a suggested donation. Now they have a lovely spot in Chapel Hill with lots of outdoor dining. "When Vimala cooks, everyone eats!"

This is a restaurant centered around community. Very delicious Indian cuisine that will fill you up and leave you feeling energetic. Monday nights are game nights (for board gamers).

Creative take on Indian cuisine. Uses local ingredients. Vimla's is a local institution and started out of her home. She is very active serving the local community in myriad ways. Outdoor seating in good weather. Not your typical Indian restaurant. Not fancy but excellent food.
