A delightful detached stone cottage situated at the foot of the stunning Wicklow Mountains. With a characterful feel and rural location, this property is ideal for a couple looking to escape to County Carlow. Set in a 19th century farm pebbled courtyard. This granite cottage opens into an airy open-plan living space with a kitchen and lounge. There is a woodburning stove and leather couches to enjoy your evening. French doors lead out from the bedroom onto an outdoor dining, bbq area and garden.

The apartment was built on the site of a carpet factory which wove the carpets for the titanic ship. It has it's own private entry, with stairway leading to living, kitchen and bedroom. It is decorated in a contemporary style. It is designed for 2 but sofa bed in living/ kitchen can sleep 2. note 1 bathroom accessed through only bedroom.

Villa Jokubas The Jungle

Located 5 minutes from heritage town Abbeyleix in co. Laois is Villa Jokubas a log cabin village set on a hill overlooking surrounding countryside. All our cabins combine modern finishes and rustic county charms. Be treated with all modern luxuries inside and outside, enjoy expansive yard, covered patio areas with private modern hot tubs, "Kamado" BBQ grills, fully stocked bar with taps of our home brewed IPA beer. We charge €25 for hottub or sauna for one use. One Drink Included.

This gorgeous little hut is tucked into the upper corner of a hay barn and has the cosy feel of a treehouse. Set in a peaceful rural spot overlooking open fields, it offers a real sense of escape. Although close to other buildings where we live, it is completely private. Access is via two short flights of sturdy steps leading to a balcony. Kilkenny city is a 20-minute drive away, but a car is essential as there is no public transport. An ideal place to retreat and unwind.

Babes Cottage

Our cottage is nestled in the beautiful Slieve Blooms mountains. This cottage boasts a traditional thatched roof surrounding by fantastic countryside. The cottage features two cozy bedrooms with comfortable beds and soft linens. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for cooking up hearty meals with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. Warm up by the fireplace in the inviting living room, where you can curl up with a good book or watch a movie on the flat-screen TV.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Located halfway between Portlaoise and Kilkenny, this is the ideal spot to stop and relax in the scenic countryside while touring the many local attractions. The fact that we are in The Midlands, makes it's the perfect location to visit other counties from, as everywhere is within only a few hours drive. “The Barn” is a beautifully restored 19th century building beside our Farm house, finely furnished for your comfort. Enjoy an Emperor size, bed dressed in luxury cottons. Although “The Barn” is private I'm always on hand. Nestled snugly on our farm at the end of a country lane, surrounded by gardens & lush countryside. Walk the towpaths of Borris, venture up Mt Leinster, enjoy the quaint pubs of Clonegal. Kilkenny City is a must.
