Welcome to the Vedder River Retreat! We’re 15 min away from Cultus Lake, 25 min away from Chilliwack lake and nestled amongst endless hiking, fishing and outdoor adventures that await you! Have a fire during campfire season or kick back beside the creek right outside the patio door and enjoy the sounds of the birds and the river! Architect Designed Round Cabin - Snowline Castle

Come enjoy our one-of-a-kind cabin in the round on Mt. Baker! A unique circular home with gorgeous wood beams and thoughtful touches throughout. Architect designed in 1986 and recently renovated to highlight the incredible design, while introducing luxuries and comforts that create a truly memorable mountain retreat. The Snowline Castle was built using elements found in Medieval castle turrets and was meant to resemble a tree stump nestled in the forest.

Cozy Log Cabin

Our log home was built to replicate historical buildings in BC with a roof line borrowed from Quebec. The main floor is an open concept with a kitchen, dining area and living room. Bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs. I have a clawfoot bathtub but do not have a shower. The back yard is large and fenced for kids and a dog to enjoy. Bring your own wood if you want to use the fire pit. Bring pods if you want to use the Keurig or Nespresso.

In these rather adventurous times in our world, we invite you to watch the sun set early over the mountain and feel the cool breeze sweeping down its steep face. Go to sleep to the sound of a creek roaring in the distance, wake up to the sound of beautiful birds. Have a fire, play bocce, go for a hike through nearby teapot hill. Unwind in our space and let it all fall away. We welcome you to breath deeply and relax at our cabin.
