We thoroughly enjoyed our friends stay at this quaint, cozy, clean camp on False River. The sunrises and sunsets were fabulous and sitting around the fire pit was so relaxing! Would definitely return! Thanks for making us feel welcomed and the fine hospitality!

The house and property were gorgeous and perfect for our needs as a family traveling together. We loved eating breakfast on the patio overlooking the beautiful pond and enjoyed evenings by the fire pit. The house was extremely clean and well stocked. Everyone kept saying that if we are ever back in the area, it would be a great place to stay again.

If you're looking for a great place to stay and enjoy quiet time with family, fishing, whatever you want .. this is the place. We visit LA every other year to visit family but after this trip, we're going to make it an annual event. There was plenty of space for everyone, with everything you need to kick back and relax.

This home was everything we hoped for and more. Extremely clean, very comfortable and homey - lots of books, which were super fun to peruse. Fresh flowers on the table and a personal note greeted us when we arrived. Communication with hosts was clear and easy. Well hope to stay here again next time we're in the area!

The farmhouse was surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful landscapes, ideal for leisurely walks or simply soaking in the serene atmosphere. I loved the peaceful mornings spent sipping coffee on the porch while listening to the gentle sounds of nature. Overall, my time at the farmhouse was rejuvenating and delightful. so this is my second time at Mowata house tha 1st time was last Christmas it was beautiful the 2nd time was this past Easter weekend, it was breathtaking the property is well kept and beautiful we had a big crawfish boil on saturday we had Easter egg hunt on Sunday so much space my grandson and his cousins feed the sheep that was so exciting the house it self was squeaky clean it wasa perfect weekend were looking forward to our next stay.

I would recommend it to everyone, but I might want to keep it a secret it is so charming. Little geckos and stripped skinks to greet you in the morning along with birdsong. The sounds and sights of waterbirds flying to roost at dusk. Yep, I'm coming back!

We had a pleasant stay. The place inside was as described, very clean and equipped. The yard in front and the riverfront is lovely. Two minor notes: the roadway is kind of close so you can hear a bit. There is some issue with the bathroom lock, without locking it you can end being locked. Final last note: we had heavy rain one night and the river level almost reached the ground level. Fortunately there was no flooding in our area.

Deborah’s place was absolutely perfect!! My husband took my 2 toddlers on a “guys night” fishing trip & they had a blast! The house was extremely nice & the quiet location was perfect! They caught fish very easily & Deborah was so helpful & one of the most accommodating & responsive hosts we have ever had at an air bnb. They can’t wait to go back!

Definitely recommend this place! Will definitely be going back!
