You can even kayak or paddle board to some of the shops and restaurants or just paddle out to the Pamlico Sound. Wake up, have some coffee on the back deck overlooking the creek, and venture out for a day at the beach. If you are looking for a quiet place to get away, relax, and still feel right at home, this is your place.

The Cypress Moon Inn is on the Shore of The Albemarle Sound. The Guest Rooms are Waterfront with a spectacular view to the West over the water. We serve a Continental Breakfast and our guests may use our bicycles,kayaks, paddleboard and beach equipment. We are in a natural quiet safe setting with no immediate neighbors. Meadows Inn - Stanly Suite

After a busy day, the Spaight Suite offers a tranquil place to relax. The suite features gentle blue walls, a cherry wood King bed and private bath. The Stanly–Spaight Duel was the most notorious affair of honor in North Carolina history. In 1802, Stanly and Spaight campaigned for a legislative seat. However, the campaign turned violent and resulted in a duel to that ended in the death of Spaight.
