We had the perfect weekend. The weather certainly helped but it was perfected by our stay at Mt Ophir Gatehouse. A wonderful, homely property close to Rutherglen in a peaceful location. The only sounds were the myriad of small birds and the local cows. Communication was excellent with the host Amy. We had some homemade granola and some basic supplies on arrival. The property was spacious, stylish and suited our group of 3 couples with well proportioned bedrooms, two with ensuites. Would love to come back with some girlfriends!

Eight of us enjoyed a perfect stay in a home that was so clean and comfortable. The bbq was the biggest we had ever seen. The house was situated a very short walking distance from the high street. Thoroughly recommend this stay.

Great house in a private location off a slip road. Very close & easy walking to the lovely little town of Yackandandah. It has a great hotel, a good supermarket, pharmacy, cafes etc. Everything at the house was as described or better. Good kitchen with plenty pots, pans, plates, glasses, cutlery etc. Host provided bread, milk & eggs and there were cereals, jams, salt, pepper, oil and more. We used the main bedroom and it was roomy and the bed comfy. Our 2 small dogs loved the yard and slept in their dog beds in the large laundry. We would definitely return and happily recommend the house to others looking to visit Yackandandah.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Cottage. Jen and Peter are wonderful hosts, we loved being greeted by Peter on arrival and hearing some family history about the winery. Watching the sunset over the vineyard, a bottle of Booths wine and local produce purchased from Glenrowan... beautiful!! Great amenities, beautiful clean rainwater and light breakfast was also very appreciated. Thanks Jen and Peter 😁

We were traveling as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) and had a lovely stay at Sue's house in Rutherglen. It's only a street away from all of the shops, restaurants and cafe's and lots of beautiful rides/walks along the old rail line. Wineries are all close by also. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Highly recommend!

beautiful serene and quiet property overlooking the lake. most amazing sunsets and display of God's wondrous creation. the A/C was adequate. had one extremely hot night (38 C by day and 31C at night) which we managed to sleep through with ceiling fans and just a sheet. Bron & Brad were very responsive and saw to our every need. we loved our stay ❤️

The Shearer's is a lovely, relaxing and peaceful place to have a few days to rest and recuperate. We enjoyed having a peaceful spot to relax after day trips to the surrounding towns. Michael was very helpful and the children enjoyed having a fire to toast marshmallows. We highly recommend.

Very cool and cosy space. Would definitely stay again. Walking into Beechworth very easy (downhill). Coming back either good exercise or cheap with Indigo taxi's. Outdoor space wasn't private as there are other people who could see you - but there was no one around so felt private :) Extra handy to not have to use our own Netflix account and remember how to sign in and out etc. It's a small thing but just made our evening more relaxing, so thank you!

Wow what a gorgeous place. If I could give Miss Lucy's 6 stars I would. I absolutely loved my stay here. The space is so beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. Terrific little kitchen, exquisite bathroom , extraordinarily comfortable bed with quality linen. Not to mention, a location central to Beechworth and access to all the fabulous cafes and shops. I loved everything about this place and would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you for creating such a beautiful space.

Minette was a perfect host. The property was really beautiful and a perfect gateway for a wonderful family weekend. 15 mins drive from beautiful Lake Buffalo, <5mins from center of Myrtleford.

Have stayed here before and we were extremely happy, will be returning! Located on a private property with a great walk behind the villa. Very private, didn't see the host or other guests even though they were around. Check in/out was easy. The place was very well designed and fitted out. Personal touches like a gift voucher to a local restaurant and thoughtful ammenities topped off a great facility and location. Highly recommended.

It’s the second time we have stayed here, we loved it so much the first time! It’s peaceful, relaxing, cosy, has everything you need and close to everything you want. Host is helpful and responds promptly. Not sure we’d stay anywhere else☺️

We had the most wonderful stay. Everything was just perfect we had 8 people staying over the weekend and it still felt like so much space for everyone. The place its self is just out of town, and it's very peaceful but close enough to be in town in minutes or only a short ride away. The views from the house were stunning and the house its self had everything we needed for a fantastic weekend away. I could not recommend this place more, I think we will be back again for sure, Thanks for having us!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days at Panoramia Villas. Beautiful views, quiet, and the most comfortable beds. Very spacious and perfect for 2 couples. Would definitely return some day and stay longer.
