Welcome to the A-frame at Finch Creek. A one-of-a-kind Northern Michigan getaway overlooking Finch Creek and completely surrounded by the Grass River Natural Area. We renovated this 1970s cabin from the ground up and designed it to feel open and connected to the landscape. With 20-foot vaulted ceilings, massive picture windows, a fireplace to curl up next to, and just minutes from some of the most stunning lakes in the state, it’s the perfect home base for exploring or doing nothing at all.

The House on the Hill

This house is located outside Alden. It sits on 35 acres and is 1/4 of a mile from the road. The location is rural, secluded and quiet. There is ample parking for boats and recreational vehicles. The view from the deck is spectacular, you can see out over 10 miles. It's private and has a wide wraparound deck, with a covered area at the front. It's perfect for grilling, relaxing and watching the sky after a day out. The kitchen is open and provides a lot of space for food preparation.

The perfect launching point for all NW Michigan has to offer.

We are only a 15 minute drive to Shanty Creek Resort, where you can ski on 2 mountains in the winter, and golf 5 Championship courses in the summer. The cottage is also only a 10 minute drive to Bellaire, home of Short's Brewery. Enjoy everything Northern Michigan has to offer, any season of the year. Torch Lake is half a mile away — National Geographic's most beautiful lake, and your home base for the week. This 3-bedroom log cabin on 2 wooded acres sleeps 8, with a stone fireplace, game loft, and backyard firepit. Boat, swim, and sandbar all day. Short's Brewing and Shanty Creek golf are 9 minutes out. Traverse City is 35 minutes. Glacial Hills hiking trails are minutes from the door. This is what Northern Michigan is supposed to feel like.
