Very nice apartment with a lovely garden, just right for a short getaway with friends or family. Davide is very friendly and helpful. He couldn’t welcome us in person but the self check-in went very smoothly as he gave us clear instructions and everything was well organized. He’s easily reachable in case of problems and also regularly checked if everything was okay. A minor inconvenience was that our bedsheets were still damp from the washing when we arrived, but he told us one day before that this was the case and also told us where we could find extra blankets (we eventually helped ourselves with the hairdryer :-) ). Everything else was perfect, in the flat you can also find a list with recommendations on restaurants and activities that was very helpful. We would always come back! :)

Diese Unterkunft ist einer der Besten, die ich je über Airbnb gebucht habe, einfach ein Traum. Die Wohnung und insbesondere die Küche sind super ausgestattet. Es ist einfach alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Das Appartement war blitzsauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Es war alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Die Wohnung gross, sehr schön ausgestattet und auch in der Küche mit allem Notwendigen versehen, so dass wir eine tolle Woche verbringen konnten. Es gibt gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe und auch der Zugang zur Waschmaschine, die man sich mit anderen Parteien teilt, hat geklappt. Die Vermietung hat genügend Toilettenpapier und Geschirrspültabs bereitgestellt für eine Woche, was sehr zuvorkommend war. Besonders gefreut haben uns der herrliche Balkon, der Schwedenofen und die Fondue-Ausrüstung. Schade ist, dass sich das Hauptschlafzimmer nicht mit einer Schiebetür vom Hauptbadezimmer trennen lässt. Dadurch, dass das grosse Badezimmerfenster nicht verdunkelt werden kann (es fehlt ein Innenrollo), fällt nachts viel Licht ins Schlafzimmer.

Giulia's place had an amazing location, steps from the train with our luggage, a restaurant right next door, grocery store minutes away, and a beautiful short walk to the water with shops and restaurants there. Varenna, while very nice, is very busy, we are so happy we stayed in Mandello del Lario. The apartment itself is in a very secure block, the style is bohemian which we enjoyed as we were seeking to relax. And what sold us and did Not disappoint was the view from the terrace in the morning. Everything else was great, it's a quiet area, the surrounding houses seemed upscale, with families and school kids doing their day to day activities. We would absolutely go back to this airbnb and already regretted not staying for 4 days instead of the 3 we booked. Thanks Giulia , hope to visit Mandello del Lario again soon !

Valentina was our contact while we stayed in Limonta. She was the most friendly, kind, and responsive host we have ever known. She always went above and beyond what she had to. She gave us the most easy and helpful check-in information, checked in on us during our stay with great friendliness, and tipped us off to local experiences and restaurants to enhance our stay. The little home was private, peaceful, and with a fantastic terrace/view that we made the most of every day of our stay. We had such a nice little trip, and it will be looked back on fondly due to the special touch of Valentina!

Marie was a great host. Very kind and accommodating. We really appreciated her letting us stay a bit longer in the afternoon. Thanks you again Marie!

Sara’s beautiful home , was comfortable and had a gorgeous view of lake Como. Everything we needed was provided . Parking at the property needs some great skills but there is free parking available outside. The area is very quiet and great for walking.

vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft. Von der Abholung am Bahnhof bis zum flexiblen Check-Out, war der Urlaub in Mandello ein voller Erfolg. Großer Pluspunkt war der fußläufige Supermarkt, die toll ausgestattete Küche und die liebevolle Kommunikation. Auf unsere Wünsche (z.B. weitere Bettdecke) wurde schnell reagiert. Zum See spaziert man circa 15min durch das Dorf, was viel Gelegenheit bietet Mandello kennenzulernen. Wir können einen Aufenthalt in Donatas AirBnB sehr empfehlen!
