Hartington itself is a popular pretty village boasting some 3 pubs 3 cafes, post office , Deli Stores and News agents and of course our very own famous Cheese shop not to missed Walking and cycling can be done from the front door

It is situated 3/4 mile from the pretty village of Alstonefield and 5 1/2 miles north of the bustling market town of Ashbourne. The cottage overlooks a tranquil stretch of river running through Wolfscote Dale and a historic former water mill. A riverside footpath passes the bottom of the garden leading north along the river to Hartington and south to Dovedale and the Stepping Stones.

Annie's Loft- Paddock Cottages

Annie's Loft is a cosy first floor cottage, nestled in a country courtyard. The sweet interiors make you feel at home right away and with comfy sofa’s to lounge on it is the perfect place to relax after a day enjoying the breath-taking Peak District. The main bedroom has a king bed and the second room can either be super-king or twin, you decide. We also have a travel cot and high chair available upon request.
