Enjoy a 125+ year old country home with large yard and beautiful shade trees located on a 100-acre farm in the rolling hills of SE Missouri. The house is very clean and spacious with 4 large bedrooms, comfortable beds, beautiful hardwood floors and a large living room. We have hand-made quilts and antique furniture throughout. The kitchen is fully furnished. Relax on our 40’ front porch with swing, by the fire pit or in a hammock. A perfect place for you to recharge from stress & busy schedules!

Our house has lots of room to relax with a large kitchen and sunroom. You can sit by a cozy fire pit and enjoy chilly evenings watching the beautiful sunsets. We look forward to you spending time in our neck of the woods (so to speak). We are located with in seven miles from the Isle casino, SEMO state university and a happening down town.

Bald Knob Cabin is the ideal location to unplug and put your feet up after a long day hiking trails or traveling the Shawnee Wine Trail that flows through the cozy, inviting town of Alto Pass. Standalone, 2 BR, light, airy, upstairs apartment for 4 guests. Full kitchen, coffee bar, washer/dryer. In our small village, there is a grocery store, bank, post office, Dollar Store, library, gas station, and a park are within walking distance. I-57 is one mile. We live near a railroad crossing. If you are a very light sleeper, they may wake you. Each bedroom has a desk and sitting area and the bedside table lamp bases have outlets to charge your phone or tablet.
