Such a lovely snug little cabin. We had such a lovely stay. Very peaceful here and it was a bit like stepping back in time to a Celtic feel of being among the trees. The restaurant, roundhouse and observatory were beautiful. What a treat! Highly recommend staying here.

This was our third stay at Paul’s shepherds hut. It’s the lost wonderful escape! If you’re craving an escape with tranquility, peace and quiet, then this is the place for you. At night all you can hear is the gentle tinkle of the stream and the hooting of owls. In the morning, if you head outside, dawn chorus is amazing. Our dog absolutely loves it here too. He has so much secure space to roam he is so happy exploring. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

We visited the cabin with my children and we all loved it! Yvonne was very responsive with the location (use three what3words was a great idea!), and helped us settle really quickly after the long drive. A beautiful environment with a friendly host, we felt like home straight away. The beds are comfy and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking and we even found some DVDs to watch in the evening after visiting the beaches nearby!

Relaxing and peaceful

We had an amazing New Year’s stay in Bryan’s cozy pod cabin. It exceeded all our expectations. The cabin was warm, inviting, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home in this peaceful spot. The location is stunning, with breathtaking views of the mountains and sea. One highlight was sitting under the stars watching the Northern Lights by the fire, an unforgettable experience. Aberdaron village is nearby, with a café and shop, but far enough for complete tranquility. We explored nearby spots, including Traeth Porthor for a beach walk, Braich Anelog for scenic mountain views of the Irish Sea, and Mynydd Mawr, where we watched a perfect sunset over Bardsey Island. Bryan was a fantastic host, friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. The check-in was simple, and his communication made everything seamless. This trip was the perfect mix of relaxation and nature. We’re already planning to return in the summer. We highly recommend

A very cozy and amazingly pretty place to spend a few nights. Amazing views and a great place to be after a day out in the mountains or anywhere else. Felt very private and secluded while being quite easy to get to (follow the instructions, which I neglected to do the first time). Everything in the pod was great, good range of appliances and amenities and very comfortable.

This little cabin is perfect. In an ideal location, beautiful scenery with everything you could need for a glamping trip! The hosts were a perfect balance of being responsive but not making the stay feel like we were in their garden. The cabin is cosy and feels very private. We checked to see if we could come back whilst being there😂. Great little spot in a beautiful place, we’ll be back for sure! & at a great price! Can’t go wrong!

Truly a delightful pod! Amazing views and had everything and more you could need provided. Mannon and her family were incredibly welcoming and really responsive. Big thank you from us both!

A comfortable and peaceful place to stay. Absolutely spotless and well looked after. The bed was extremely comfortable. Perfect distance away from everything that you could just relax, or choose to venture out. Llinos was very responsive. We would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Sara was there to greet us when we arrived and was super friendly. The accommodation was lovely and the Welsh cakes and beers left were a lovely touch. It's a great place to explore local surroundings and relax. Seeing the baby lambs was a lovely added extra ☺️

I really enjoyed a few days stay at Cwtyn, Delyth was a responsive and helpful host. There is so much to explore in the area, from the mountains to the coast. I found the cottage to be clean, comfortable and very well equipped for a small space. I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

The place Meleri and family have created is beautiful! The hut is in a perfect location, very peaceful and with loads of room for our dog to enjoy. It was spotlessly clean with all the basics that we needed for the stay provided (towels, soap, toilet roll etc). The little welcome box was a lovely touch with some incredible Welsh cakes in there! Great communication throughout, would definitely recommend to anyone. Would 100% return!

A magical, secluded getaway! I absolutely loved my stay at this unique round house. It’s incredibly private and peaceful—perfect if you’re looking to unplug and reconnect with nature. The interior is beautifully designed, very clean, and super cosy, especially with the fireplace going. At night, the sky is pitch black with no lights for miles, so the stars are absolutely breathtaking. There are miles of walking trails right from the doorstep, offering stunning views in every direction. The bathroom was spotless with great hot water, and everything felt thoughtfully maintained. Megan was so friendly and helpful. She even put together a folder with clear instructions and great local recommendations, which made settling in really easy. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and scenic retreat!

We received a friendly welcome from Anna and Jim who were really helpful and a pleasure to meet. The accommodation was secluded and set in beautiful surroundings. We could hear songbirds and even owls whilst being so relaxed. The cabin was perfect and met all our needs, even our dog was safe as the garden is secure. We didn’t want to leave but I’m sure we’ll be back soon enough.

It was an absolutely fantastic three night stay in the Shepherds Hut. Abbey and her family were so welcoming and friendly. Lots of amazing animals on the property and beautiful scenery. Abbey was very helpful in recommendations and to respond to any queries. The lodge itself had everything that we needed and was very toasty after putting the fire on of an evening. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Amazing cosy place for our time away. Surrounding village is great and plenty to do. Very very clean and lovely attention to detail. Very easy to get the hut warm and the bed was super comfy. We had everything we needed and more. Will definitely be recommending to family and friends. Thank you very much from Ciera & Tom !

We had a lovely stay in the Snug! Very cosy and had everything we needed for our weekend away. We also enjoyed our time relaxing in the hot tub after our hike up Snowdon. Our host sent us lots of helpful info on finding the property and the area around where we were staying including walks, places to eat etc. Thank you

The best Easter Weekend spent at the hut! Had everything we needed and more. Lots of little attention to detail and extras. It was 4 days we’ll never forget. Cerys was so helpful and lovely! Myself, my husband and our 8 year old had the best time and can’t recommend enough. Big thank you to Cerys’s gorgeous twin girls that were the best tour guides and friend to our daughter. We really didn’t want to go home. We’ll be back 🩷 xx

The pod was immaculate when we arrived and pretty much everything you need is there. We were staying over Easter weekend and we found two Easter eggs waiting for the kids which was a really nice touch. There was also a pack of Welsh cakes which lasted about 10 seconds! The location of the pods is excellent and very peaceful. We were lucky that there happened to be some cows and calves in the field at the end of the garden who were very friendly and inquisitive. The kids loved going down to see the cows on the farm and got to sit in the tractor too. We traveled out to the beaches at Abersoch, Pwllheli and the local one at Penllech too. All within an easy drive. We would definitely recommend Penllech as there is a nice walk across some fields down to the beach. (not too far) We all enjoyed our stay and at some point would like to back.

I had a wonderful time hear. I felt very welcomed, I even got some delicious fresh eggs and Welsh cakes! I received advise of where to go for walks with my dog and what to do one morning that rained! I was lucky with the weather so in a sunny day I got to see the ocean in the horizon which was stunning! Totally recommend this place for some relaxing peace and quiet, perfectly located to get to many beaches 15-20min away.

Getaway was exactly what me and my partner needed. So peaceful and relaxing. Even with poor weather the hot tub was still relaxing. Room was cozy too. Thank you Kate for making us feel so welcome.

Apart from the WiFi not working, everything was pristine. The breakfast served in the hotel was amazing. Both Louise and Henry were awesome hosts

The cabin was tucked away in beautiful woodland, the setting is peaceful and serene. The interior is comfortable with everything you need for your stay. The cabin is perfectly placed at the bottom of the Llanberis path and so close to the beautiful waterfalls. I would not hesitate in recommending Serena and her cabin ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
