The Old Courthouse museum is visible from the back courtyard and the historic downtown is just a short walk. There’s a brewery and several unique restaurants just a few blocks away in the downtown with fun shopping close by. Casinos and the National Military Park are just a short drive. The Cottage is very cozy with a mixture of vintage and industrial decor. Visitors will have complete privacy within the house at all times, but with our home close by, we are always happy to help should you need anything! We are located in Downton Brandon in the Historic District. The Cottage is a guest house seated behind our home; it is a very quiet place, and it is great for working individuals, couples seeking a fun concert experience, or families participating in ball tournaments.

Our father built this house beginning in 1981. It is located on our 40-acre farm, in front of my sister's cottage, about 100 yards from the house I share with our nephew, which was originally built by our grandparents in 1939. It is quiet, remote and peaceful. It is about seven miles to the nearest grocery stores and restaurants in Bastrop, and one mile to a Dollar General in Collinston. There is wifi in the house, as well as a Roku TV.
