Featuring a hot tub for 6 people, a deck overlooking the magnificent ocean, and beautiful back yard to complement the setting. Trinidad State Park directly borders this home to the North, so you're right at the edge of great walking trails. Grocery store, coffee shops, restaurants, etc. are all within walking distance. My guesthouse is a few blocks from the Arcata plaza, restaurants and dining, family-friendly activities, art and culture. It is a 10 minute drive to beaches, 20 minute drive to scenic Trinidad and you can walk or bike to the marsh. You’ll love my place because it is near the heart of Arcata. Everything is at your fingertips. A couple blocks off the plaza means you will get the access without all the noise; a great combo. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families with kids.

Cocooned by Redwoods, Sitka Spruce and Huckleberries. A ladder leads you to the cozy sleeping loft, where you can gaze at the stars through the two huge skylights. Just down the steps across the OUTDOOR LIVING ROOM, step into the "Shower Grotto", inside an Old Growth Redwood Stump with a Rain Shower.

Excellent location with views of the redwood forest. Our bungalow is fully equipped. Come home with your farmer's market bounty and make use of the well-stocked kitchen or balcony grill. Get cozy in the living room at the push of a button with the gas fireplace and Smart TV. Sleep soundly on either the king or queen-sized bed. If you have extra people I can provide an air mattress. Walk from your door to Cal Poly Humboldt, the Arcata Plaza, and Shay Park. A wonderful home base.

Along with our local craftsman, we have created an oasis that will allow you to soak up the Redwoods, listen to the birds and watch the deer graze. Walking distance to the Majestic Arcata Community forest and Cal Poly Humboldt. As Arcata natives, we wanted to bring you a unique and unforgettable Humboldt experience.

A large, open modern, one bedroom studio apartment on the ground floor of a Victorian. There's a stream of activity on the street, walking and biking. It's a swell, safe neighborhood with professors, students, families. Outside the apartment door you may enjoy coffee or a cocktail at the garden table. The kitchen is complete and part of the living room, which works well for groups, with the counter island, futon sofa, lounge chair, and kitchen table with chairs.

Winter heating is limited. Indoor temperatures typically range between 65–75°F. Two wall heaters are provided. This is intentional and disclosed — please book accordingly if you require full thermostat control. Very sensitive to colder temperatures are not a good fit
