Our house sits at the bottom of a secret track in a private, historical cove on the beautiful Hebridean island of Lismore. Secluded, quiet and peaceful, Port Moluag is within easy reach of the Scottish mainland whilst feeling totally removed from the pace and noise of city life. The house is newly-built using eco technologies to limit its environmental impact and is surrounded by wonderful wildlife such as seals, otters, and a multitude of birds as well as many sites of historical interest.

There are so many activities to enjoy during your stay. These include walking, climbing, munro bagging, biking and taking in some of the stunning wildlife. Dogs welcome.

An Cala, Benderloch

An Cala is a cosy cottage in a rural location in the village of Benderloch, within only 20 minutes' drive of Oban. There are sandy beaches within easy walking distance. The Fort William to Oban cycle path passes right outside the garden gate. The village has a convenience store and seasonal cafe, which are just 2 minutes' walk away. This is an ideal base for exploring the West coast of Argyll. Ferries run from Oban to various islands, and the mountains of Glencoe are 45 minutes to the North.

Shepherd's Hut near Oban

Get away from it all in our shepherd's hut located just outside the village of Connel and only a ten minute drive from the bustling seaside town of Oban. The accommodation is located on our family croft (we live on site near to the shepherds hut) with ducks, hens, Hebridean sheep and our two ponies as your closest neighbours. We are surrounded by abundant wildlife such as pine martens and red deer and have outstanding views over unspoiled countryside towards the slopes of Ben Cruachan.

From here you can relax in a peaceful and beautiful place, explore hills, woods, shores or sea, and take advantage of many visitor attractions within driving distance on the West Coast of Scotland. A warm, comfortable, well-equipped holiday home awaits you with glorious views of upper Loch Etive and the local mountains.

Steading Cottage - 50m from the beach

Situated on the beautiful Airds Estate in Port Appin and 5 minutes walk from Port Appin's excellent restaurants. This is a 3 bedroom cottage in a 300 year old farm building. It is 50m from the beach with direct access to the beach. There is no public road between you and the shoreline - it's very private! The views are spectacular and the kitchen is very well equipped. Perfect for hiking or skiing the mountains, kayaking to the seal colony or cycling and walking.

Relax in this calm, stylish space on the Isle of Kerrera and explore the beautiful and wild landscape. The ideal island getaway for couples or lone adventurers. Abundant wildlife such as otters, sea eagles and beautiful wild flora can be discovered as well as historic sites such as Gylen castle, all the while surrounded by breathtaking views. The island is easily accessible by the nearby Calmac passenger ferry from Gallanach, near the mainland town of Oban.

The apartment is ideal for a couple. Everyone welcome! A perfect location for going into Oban, up north, down the coast or inland. Great for walkers, guests interested in history, wildlife - we can see seals and otters from the apartment - and restaurants are within walking distance. There is a decking area and you are also welcome to use our patio which is a sun trap.
