The Star Hut at Rannoch Station

Unique, single-room glass-fronted hut in a silver birch/rowan wood on a small hill, full of character with a spectacular view 25 miles to the East. Rannoch Moor is a place of peace and tranquillity, there is no noise (after the 9.05pm train) and no light pollution. Maida's cottage is situated on the edge of the village of Ford, close to Loch Ederline. There is a private driveway to the cottage with a farm gate to keep the sheep on the hill. There is ample parking and a gated/fenced private garden. Although on the edge of the village, Maida's cottage feels remote with a rather stunning backdrop. There are many hills to walk. There is no TV or WiFi, this is a cosy getaway from hectic lives so sit back and enjoy the log fire with a good book.

Lighthouse cottage - Toward , Nr Dunoon , Argyll

A stunning former lighthouse keeper’s cottage, Lighthouse Point has the most amazing views of the lighthouse and dramatic sea views down the Clyde approach, past Bute, towards Arran. Situated at Toward Point in Argyll, this beautiful cottage offers a luxurious stay with views to die for. If you can be tempted away from gazing out of the south facing sunroom, watching the sea, yachts and other marine traffic, it is less than two minutes’ walk to the water.

Dunans Cottage

Dunans Cottage is situated in the beautiful Knapdale Forest 1.9 miles from Cairnbaan within a National Scenic Area. The views are fantastic! The Cottage is off the beaten track but within a traditional farming hamlet with access via a forestry track ( see illustrated map ). Many outdoor and indoor activities are available within the area but the peace and quiet at Dunans are unique.

Bearnus Bothy on Isle of Ulva

Bearnus Bothy has been lovingly renovated using our principle of ecological design to repair, repurpose and use what has been washed-up by the sea. It is one of the last old residences outside of the main dwellings around the Main House on Ulva. As such there are no neighbours until you reach the tiny community on Gometra - where we live - another three miles down the track.
