Our cozy place is located in the perfect location just a few minutes outside of city limits & having Wayne National Forrest right behind our backyard. Sit out on the balcony to relax, grill out or soak in the brand new hot tub! Take a pedal down on the bike path located less than 5 minutes from the cabin. Float down the Hocking River. Take a scenic train ride! So many things to do near Bear Creek!

The Cottage

This is a rural location. Located on an open hill along a private drive, this newly built -"little house on the prairie"- is surrounded by fields on one end and woods on the other. The moon and lotsa stars at night -no neighbors nearby. Trails and ponds are available for your enjoyment. Swimming* and fishing is encouraged in the warmer months. A small outdoor fire ring is nearby. Hiking in the woods on the far side of the field will be off limits last week of October through thanksgiving.

Close to Ohio University, Athens, and Marietta, OH.

Burr Oak Cabin

Burr Oak Cabin is nestled into the woods of Burr Oak State Park. Just a short walk or drive to Burr Oak Lake where you can enjoy fishing (license required), hiking, or boating. Hiking trails include various state park trails, the American Discovery Trail or the Buckeye Trail. Put in your own boat at the Dock 1 boat ramp (9.9 hp limit) or rent a kayak, canoe, fishing boat or pontoon boat. Rentals available April through October. We have wifi with a Roku smart Tv to stream.

This two bedroom cabin is located within minutes of Burr Oak State Park in the heart of the Ohio Outback. Hunting on thousands of acres of public land. This cozy cabin is close to many attractions such as , Wolf Creek, Muskingum River, AEP Recreation lands, Ohio Valley Opry, bike trails and fishing . Take a scenic drive on route 78 also known as Rim Of The World. If you want to take a nature hike there are many trails in the area including the Buckeye Trail.
