Many of the materials used in this house were either reused from old local houses or milled on the property itself, giving it a lot of character, while remaining modern. Quiet, private and surrounded by trees. 5 minutes from downtown Nevada City. Near a variety of outdoor activities. Down a private driveway with lots of outdoor space to enjoy. The Stone’s Throw Cottage is a historic home in the beautiful Sierra foothills. Built in the 1940’s by a local stonemason, Stone’s Throw Cottage was renovated in 2018/2019. Located just outside the Auburn city limits, it's in a semi-rural area, but only 5 mins to historic Auburn. Situated on 1/2 acre, it’s quiet, private & charming. In the main room, a 65 inch TV, and 43 inch in the cozy bedroom. Located just minutes from Grass Valley/Nevada City and the beautiful downtown Auburn. 15 minutes off HWY 80 and just over an hour to Truckee and Tahoe! Laundry room available, parking at unit, seating area outside.

The Inkling -Studio Guesthouse Downtown 2 beds

The Inkling is a separate apartment attached to a Victorian home built in 1890. It is in a quiet neighborhood near beautiful scenic canyons. Close to Old Town Auburn, you may enjoy restaurants, antique shops, family-friendly activities, the American river, and many, many trails. It is less than .5 miles from downtown as well. There is an enclosed grassy area for our human and canine guests. We live in the main house with our 3 small dogs Lola, Leo and Charlie.
