Brenda was an excellent host and always responded promptly with answers to all our questions. She and her husband go above and beyond to make sure their guests are taken care of. The house was very nice and a pool was just added to the property. We were very comfortable there and hope to stay again when in the area. Thank you, Brenda!!

This property exceeds 5 stars without a doubt - our only complaint is that we didn’t plan to stay longer!!! We were stopping through on a 5,000 mile road trip & it was like a spot of sheer relaxation & amazingness with something for everyone. The meticulousness of the property was amazing - from the helpful labels to the abundance of towels (for outside & inside) - this property exceeds allll expectations.

What a beautiful home in an excellent location. Loved the layout. Plenty of room to visit with friends. The large deck was wonderful and the view is amazing. The beds were very comfy and the master bedroom downstairs is perfect. The decor is beautiful yet very comfortable. Our host Lisa is very responsive and always available to help if needed. This home is a rare find and we will definitely return. Thank you Lisa for sharing your home with us.

Quiet space in a beautiful location. Clean and comfortable with plenty of room for multiple families to both come together and spread out. Well stocked with necessities and the pool is a great amenity!

Loved staying at this location. So close to restaurants and shops and outdoor adventures. Very quiet. Amazing views of stars. Plenty of sleeping spaces. Very responsive and helpful host!

Beautiful and extra clean! My favorite airbnb so far. It would be a wonderful summer vacation place for families to enjoy all the amenities such as fishing pond and pool. And close enough to Shawnee National Forest and Marion for different adventures.

10/10!! This home is perfection! We enjoyed our girls’ weekend so much, and this home was the cherry on top! Beautiful inside and out! Exactly as described! House manual we received, in advance, gave us multiple options for local restaurants and things to do! The owners are extremely helpful and great at communication!! The kitchen was wonderful to cook in! We utilized the back deck, which looks out to the timber behind the home! Gorgeous!! We can’t wait to come back!!

Very cool home built in 1790. Kitchen is well-equipped. Good fridge with Icemaker. Small, cozy living room can actually seat 8 people. Creative design elements. Hot tub was awesome and very clean. Lovely side porch. Generous parking lot across the street was very convenient.

What a great experience. Charming home away from home, opportune for making it our own, accommodated our family, while we each had our individual space. It’s clear that this family ranch was well preserved and host many positive memories. A coveted sprawling ranch cabin in the woods. ❤️

We loved our stay at the Coffee Bean house! We were in town for a family reunion and it was exactly what we needed. The coffee maker, K-Cups, and syrups (with sugar free options!) was a great touch. Comfy bed and linens, along with everything being extremely clean. We look forward to our next stay!

The house was perfect for our River to River relay team to stay. It was about 45 minutes from the start line. It had 5 bedrooms with queens beds that’s were clean and comfortable. The house was simple and clean. They left some delicious homemade cinnamon rolls for us. Check in and check out were easy and flexible. While we were only there for a quick sleep, I wish we had more time to explore!

We had a family gathering and found this home a lovely place to meet. The common areas were large and comfortable for our family of 11 adults and a few local family members who joined us for the day.

The Turkey Farmhouse was more spacious than I expected. Everything was well stocked--dishes and utensils, towels, board games. There were also spaces to sit quietly separate from the main areas in the house. As a Gen Xer, I really enjoyed the arcade games as well.

We loved staying here for our wedding. Andrew accommodated our wedding party since we were getting married in the area. We were amazed at how gorgeous, clean and homey the property felt. The communication with Andrew was top tier. We will be recommending this to all of our friends and might even be back for a weekend away❤️

Wonderful house and location to SIU. Weather didn't cooperate, but served its purpose!! Thank you for the hospitality and the amazing weekend that was very comfortable for our family of 10! I highly recommend this place, especially for large groups and SIU events!!

The house was clean and had everything described in the listing. The host had thought of everything, down to restaurant listings for the area and items for a continental breakfast. Beds were comfortable, linens were clean, comfy furniture in the living room as well. If I'm ever back in the area, I will definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great stay Jared!

Beautiful home and met up with some friends that all went to school together. We had a wonderful time reminiscing about our home town memories, funny school stories and growing up tog ether. We all cooked together in the spacious kitchen and watched the beautiful sunset. Spacious bedrooms for everyone and then spent the morning together before heading back to our daily life. Planning on doing this wonderful weekend together again at this location.
