Good location in proximity to the zoo. House was clean and easy to find. We had a lovely stay!

Matt was very helpful with check in and check out. His place is awesome! So close to the OHV trails which we were there for. My friends who were camping in camp grounds were jealous! Very nice cozy home! Plenty of amenities. The dogs he speaks about in his listing aren’t to annoying. They greeted us the first day and we never saw them again. Nice little bar restaurant almost across the street. Will definitely rent from Matt again is we do this trip again!

The house was very conveniently located for our purposes. Everything was spotless and the kitchen was very well stocked. We had everything we could have ever needed and were so comfortable. We will absolutely stay again if we are in the area.

We were very pleased with our accommodations! It was clean and spacious, amazing property with many amenities! We loved the private property, fire pit, pool table, children’s and front porch swings, convenience to stores, parks, and family! We absolutely loved staying at Cate’s place!! It was so peaceful and cozy. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were very soft. Our dog felt at home and loved the backyard/wooded area, she was so happy! Cate had muffins when we arrived, breakfast for us the last day, and peacock feathers as a gift! She even had bowls ready for our pup. She was such a gracious host. It is a great property to relax and enjoy nature. Cate has thought of everything. Her home is on the property, however she gave us privacy and you didn’t even notice them. Highly recommend staying here.

This is our second stay at Kelly’s place and we love it! It is our home away from home when visiting Asheboro. 😊 We love it especially for the fenced in yard which is perfect for our dog! The house itself is beautiful and thoughtfully decorated and extremely clean. Check in is easy and straightforward. As many great things as I could say about the house, I can’t say enough about Kelly as a host. On this particular trip we were visiting my ailing father-in-law and our travel plans ended up having some last minute changes. Kelly was beyond kind and accommodating and worked to help us through the moving pieces. We appreciate this more than I can say! I can’t recommend this listing enough and we can’t wait to return under better circumstances. Thanks Kelly 💕

Nice little cottage that is very clean and well provisioned. Located close to resturants and shopping centers and the NC Zoo yet remote enough to afford a relaxing stay with a country aire. I would stay here again. I will mention there were some minor repairs being made which did not impact our stay.

Very clean peaceful place with easy access. Plenty of basic supplies. Dawn is a very responsive hostess. Our second time staying here.

We stayed here for a youth state shooting tournament . The boys wanted to fish more than go to the tournament! It’s a safe community with a pond in the back and close access to the lake! We enjoyed it!

The space was beautifully decorated, clean, and well-stocked. The king-size bed and furniture were all very comfortable. The unit had a smart TV with YouTube TV and reliable Wi-Fi, which worked well for remote work. The pool area was especially nice and private, surrounded by trees and shrubbery with no close neighbors. The hosts were FANTASTIC-responsive, accommodating, and welcoming. They respected our privacy but were always happy to chat. Jim and his family were all very lovely and interesting folks. Aside from the reason for our visit to the area, getting to know them was the highlight of our stay. We honestly have no complaints about the whole experience.👍🏻👍🏻

Perfect weekend getaway for our family of 4! The camper was cozy and had all the necessities. The kids enjoyed roasting marshmallows at the fire pit and we loved the beach area by the lake! The hosts were easy to communicate with and made the check in and out process easy!

I stayed here for a month for a clinical rotation I had in Monroe and it was perfect! Very clean, comfortable and private space. It truly has everything you need for a long stay. The hosts are very quick to respond! Would recommend to anyone who is traveling to the area.

The name says it all… Delilah’s Retreat and this just what it is. It made me feel so comfortable from the moment I stepped inside. It’s impeccably clean and comfortable. Everything is supplied with exception of food. I would definitely stay again and recommend without hesitation. Thank you James for offering such a lovely place.

Wonderful place to get away for awhile. Quiet and cozy, the host has thought of everything. Forget something before you left? No worries, she probably has it at the home. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom. We cooked breakfast and dinner there with no problem. Extremely quiet and peaceful, wonderfully tucked back in the country but still close enough to make beer/food runs when needed. Pet friendly and extremely clean. My wife and I enjoyed our stay so much we are planning another one later this year. The Indian Mound was awesome! We also checked out the NASCAR HOF and a race at Rockingham. Friendly folks and beautiful county, what more could you ask for? Thank you to the hosts for their hospitality it was much appreciated!

I enjoyed two splendid and peaceful nights with my golden retriever. Beautiful area, private retreat. Comfortable yet rugged. Everything was exactly as pictured. Will be back with the kiddos.

We needed a local place to stay for a month while repairing our home. We were so thankful to have such a lovely temporary home. The beds were very comfortable and we had plenty of space to spread out. The large fenced backyard was quiet and peaceful.Any issues got a super quick response and resolution from the owners.

Ozzie was a wonderfully responsive host and checked in on us throughout the visit to ensure we were comfortable and happy. The house was beautiful and just as described in the listing. The setting is perfect for a quiet getaway.
