My husband and I have stayed here several times and always enjoy coming back year after year for good fishing and relaxing swimming! The house is alway clean and nice and a great getaway from the city life. Love going to Blacks BBQ in Lockhart to grab a great meal every time we stay here! Jeff is a super responsive host and is a pleasure to interact with!

This place was our second choice. We had reserved a different place, but the owners canceled our reservation just a week before. We are glad our first place canceled. We were traveling with our son and his family. Michael and Jessica have a 5-year old and a 3-year old. The toys and trampoline were a big hit. The house is spacious and comfortable. It felt very clean and we had all we needed especially in the kitchen. We were also near restaurants and a Walmart. That made meal time easy. The decor was welcoming. I love the silk flowers in my bathroom. I highly recommend this home.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this rural property. The beds are comfy, the kitchen is superb and well equipped, and the whole house is relaxing and inviting. The house is very much out of town and had a private, secluded feel to it, but it's only a 10 minute drive to Bastrop to get groceries, go to a restaurant, or find anything else you might need. The outdoor spaces at the house are great and provide plenty of space to spread out. The pool is not heated and was too cool for my liking (we were there at the end of April with temps in the 90s). Overall, would recommend for a family. The master bedroom is palatial with its own deluxe ensuite, desk, and sitting area. The other two bedrooms share a jack and jill bathroom, and do have a powder room close by. There is another full bathroom on the lower level of the house which is great for the pool and hot tub, but can only be accessed by going outside and down the stairs.

This place was amazing! Perfect for my family and dogs to have a peaceful week. The place was exactly as described. Clean and had everything we needed! We enjoyed the pool and walking the trails on the property. Megan was super responsive and friendly! Thanks for an amazing stay!

Hosts were so accommodating and so nice!! The space was extremely clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The space was beautiful and everything was well maintained and the pool is great!

Amazing stay! Kayaked in the river, stayed by the pool, and plenty of yard for the kids to run around. Lovely weekend and plan to stay again here.

Great place. Wasn’t quite as convenient to downtown Austin as we hoped, but we spent lots of time in the hot tub/pool instead.

The house on the hill is the perfect spot for groups coming to the Austin area. We had a bachelor group of 6 guys and everything was perfect. About 20 min from the downtown area. Very friendly to spend time in both downtown and also at the house to chill in the pool and hot tub. Brenda was also a fantastic host and made us feel right at home.

Staying at Thomas place was an awesome experience! The home was clean, cozy, and in a perfect spot with lots to do nearby. Alejandro was a great host super friendly and quick to respond if I needed anything. I really enjoyed my time there and would definitely book again next time I'm in Austin!

The best place you'll find in Texas!!! Private! Definitely the most beautiful space ever!! I got to use my step counter just walking to a bathroom the space is very roomy great for family

The communication, instructions and the place was spotless, very easy to check in and instructions super clear. Peter always responded promptly and look for solutions for any minor issue that we might find as you normally will have in your home, all the experience was 100%

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The property was exactly as described. One of the standout features was having two bedrooms and two full bathrooms on the ground floor, which made our stay incredibly convenient, especially for our family with small children and elderly parents. The bedrooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were well-equipped. Danny was a great host, very responsive and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed. The location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions and amenities. We highly recommend this place and would love to stay here again on our next visit!

The house worked well for us. There were 4 family units, 3 with children. Plenty of room for cars, etc. Since each bedroom had its own bathroom/shower it worked out very well. There was plenty of room around the kitchen area for all of us to eat and see everyone else during meals so as a family we could all be together. The only problem were the beetles that took over the pool so we were not able to use it until someone came to clean them out. The next morning they were back so it probably needs to be done daily. I would stay in the house again. Not too far from the Austin airport.

Great place to stay! The place was nice and clean and the beds and pillows were VERY comfortable.

Me and a few friends came down to compete in an Amateur National Championship Disc Golf Tournament … this met our needs perfectly. Bien was super responsive and friendly.

I have to go to Bastrop at least once a year for my daughter‘s dance competitions. Olga was a fabulous host with an immaculate home. The house had everything we could possibly need. It was clean and so comfortable. The location was wonderful, and the neighbors were great! We will definitely be staying here again! The host is very responsive and very generous. She even left snacks and drinks for us.

This home was beautiful with an amazing view above the tree tops looking down over the river. Great balcony space and windows to enjoy the view. We had a girls weekend, but it would be perfect for a romantic getaway as well. Host very proactive in providing directions, check in and check out info.

We had a great time. We were a big group of family and we were able to fit just right and not get in each other’s way. The house is clean and in a quiet neighborhood. We were here for a wedding. The ceremony was in Austin, and the reception in Round Rock, so this made getting to both places very easy. Thank you for hosting us!

The house made our trip comfortable, convenient, safe & overall a wonderful experience. We felt very much at home and all felt peaceful and very safe! Will be booking again when I visit Austin!

She would go out of her way to help me—I came here for a competition and had a lot of items delivered to the location and she coordinated receiving these even though she does not live in Bastrop. My husband and I selected the Ella Nora to host our grown children for a long weekend together. This gracious and spacious home allowed is to gather and still have privacy and true comfort. This home is updated and spotless. All bathrooms are equally beautiful and well appointed. The decor and furnishings are to-notch. You will enjoy the unique artwork throughout. There were games for entertainment, plus the pool and spa! A few steps from main street for shops, restaurants and points of interest. I highly recommend this listing and wish to return myself to enjoy this special 1910 home with all of today’s creature comforts and aesthetics 💕

From the time we first saw Gary’s place on the website we were super interested in it. It was well decorated and very clean and well kept. Once we booked we had a few questions and Gary was very responsive to us before and during our stay. He was super accommodating. They have made sure you have everything you need to be comfortable at the house as if you were staying at a friend’s. They have everything labeled and have provided lots of extras like coffee and waters, and toiletries and the icing on the cake was the cupcakes from the local bakery- a very sweet touch. The pantry was fully stocked with essentials and the bedrooms even had extra plug ins for your technology. They provided a dog basket with things you need for the your dog. The house is very updated and comfortable. The outdoor area is also very nice. Great place to have a glass of wine and sit in the rocking chairs with cafe lights. We loved staying at the farmhouse and would defiantly book it again.
