Our group had an absolutely perfect stay at Kinkini Bandaragama! The expansive garden area was a huge hit with our group of eight people. We were able to set up for our morning yoga sessions easily and had plenty of room for games in the afternoon. Inside, the living room easily accommodated our entire group. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals for everyone. The quiet and secluded location made it perfect for our meditation retreat; the peaceful surroundings really enhanced our practice. The house is conveniently located just a short ten-minute drive from Pearl Bay Water Park. We also enjoyed a peaceful boat ride on the serene Bolgoda Lake, just a short drive away. There's also a large supermarket just 10 minutes away, making it easy to stock up on supplies. The host, Tamara, was incredibly responsive and helpful, answering all our questions promptly and providing us with great recommendations for local restaurants. This was a fantastic stay! The rooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained, making for a very comfortable and enjoyable experience.

We’ve just come back from an amazing trip to Sri Lanka, and we stayed for 6 nights at Gaya’s wonderful home. We loved it; the location feels remote, but it’s only a 10min walk to the beach/restaurants etc. Every morning I’d wake up and have a coffee on the veranda, overlooking lush greenery, peacocks, cattle - not something you get in everyday life. The staff were very helpful, and the accommodation was comfortable, clean, and is a wonderful option if you’re looking for a self-catering home stay. A big thank you to Gaya for letting us stay, we hope to be back soon!

His place is in the middle of White Town. It is 5 minutes walk from the beach. He also has car parking. Both of his rooms have AC. The ACs have stabilizer so it takes some time for the stabilizer to send power to the AC. We thought the AC wasn't working but it did. There are 2 bathrooms, both have showers and are clean. There are a lot of mosquitoes though so carry some kind of mosquito repellant. The neighborhood was clean but Pondicherry as a whole is quite clean, but the roads are narrow so a 2 wheeler is the best thing to go to places. The host also provided us with 8 litres of water which was enough for us for the 2 days we stayed.

Staying at Muditha's place was wonderful. The apartment is a little outside of the city center but can easily be reached by Tuktuk. There are a few local markets nearby, we found a grocery store and a local bakery with tasty snacks that can easily be reached by foot. It is surrounded by small temples and lots of greenery, which makes it a good location for peacefull strolls around the neighbourhood. The apartment is very spacious and clean. There is no AC but there are fans in the bedrooms and since the location is a bit higher up, it's not too hot at night. The hosts were very honest and warm people. They gave us privacy but answered within minutes if we ever had a request. They even showed us their garden and let us say hello to the chickens 🥰 They helped us with our every need and even made sure we got on the local bus safely on the day of our departure. I would definitely recommend staying at this place if you are spending a few nights in Kandy!

Simply, it was our home for a short period of time. Everything was so perfect that we didn't even want to make a call to get clarification. Genuka is a very friendly person, and from the moment we placed the reservation, he was carefully concerned about what we wanted. And his father, who handed over the key to us, was also a very gentle and professional person who explained everything in the house clearly. The neighborhood is very relaxing, calm, and safe. There's a grocery store very close to the house where you can purchase almost all the things you need to cook (the house has a nice kitchen that includes all the related items to make your own meals). And the Galenigama highway interchange is much closer, so you can access most of the places very quickly. So Genuka's property is highly recommended; it is a nice, clean, safe, and calm place to relax and achieve your requirements closer to the main cities. Good Luck! 

It was our first experience with Airbnb and it has lived up to the expectation. The property is nearly arranged and well decorated. Felt like home. Being located right near to the auroville beach and auroville on the E.C.R way from hustle bustle of the city, one can enjoy their slow mornigs in the beach or can have a relaxing breakfast in th cafes at Auroville.

The highlight of our stay was the amazing meals that were prepared for us, throughout our 5 day stay. Special mention about the host couple's young son who cooked us an entire dinner that was absolutely incredible! . Thank you. :) Peaceful and quiet location where the breeze can be heard blowing through the leaves! The hosts were very accommodating towards special requests and very hospitable and friendly in nature. Ours was a family stay and we enjoyed it. The calf, Dhana, who was part of the farm family, has managed to capture hearts. The dogs, cats and cow we met were all unique in character as well.
