A SMALLER UNIT for 2 more guests & bathroom is EXTRA COST $75 per guest per night. Book 6 for whole place. Ganeden Eco Retreat is set overlooking valleys of native bush and pasture. Ganeden relies solely on solar power generation and is earth friendly. This retreat offers an experience in comfort & sustainability. You will be 5 to 15 km from some of NZ's great expansive white sandy beaches, stunning walks, cafes & outdoor pursuits. Your accommodation is half of the main house. It is completely closed off for your privacy with private access & outdoor deck. BBQ by request. Not suitable for children.

Away from the hustle bustle, enjoy this quiet serene spot. The property is well off the highway and the neighbouring orchards screen us from traffic noise. The cottage is nestled between small avocado and mixed fruit orchards, with a view out to the small pond and post’n’rail fenced paddocks beyond. Last minute bookings are usually no problem - we respond quickly. Relax with the family (with up to 3 children) in this organic permaculture lifestyle block with animals that love being fed.

The Gables - Stunning Waterfront Apartment

The Gables Waterfront Apartment is housed in a lovingly restored historic building on the Russell foreshore with 'Reach out and touch the water' views of the bay. The apartment has its own private courtyard entrance. The living, dining and kitchen areas open through french doors onto the balcony terrace, the perfect place for morning coffee or an aperitif before dinner. Swim right outside on the waterfront beach or take your pick of any of the peninsula's other stunning beaches.

The Yurt Wai Rua

The Yurt at Wai Rua, west of Whangarei, is approximately 20 minutes drive from Kamo via Pipiwai Road. It is set in a beautiful tranquil farmland area beside a small lake, which is surrounded by native trees. Watch the native birds, ducks and pukekos whilst sitting on the deck. It has amazing rural views, including massive volcanic rocks. The yurt has a separate kitchen, with a small fridge and gas oven and 2hob burners. The bathroom has a hot water shower and composting toilet.
