Quiet, private, and beautiful location. Perfect for our needs. I would definitely book this house again next year if it is available.

Such a great spot for a vacation. The house was absolutely beautiful, the cleanest airbnb I have ever stayed it. It is located about 10-15 minutes away from anything you can need which was actually nice because the beach felt more private. We loved our stay and would stay again. There was a camera overlooking the deck which the host clarified was to let the housekeeper etc into the house. I do understand, but just wanted to point it out as it made the deck feel a bit less private.

What a peaceful retreat this home is! With the sound out the back & a short walk to the beach, situated on a quiet cul-de-sac this home, with its unique architecture, is a perfect blend of feeling a bit remote without being isolated. I have stayed at this location three times. it has been very clean. Towels and washcloths are available also beach chairs and wraps. My one suggestion I think the AC should be manually operated within the house. I could not get it below 70. It was very hot. It was a perfect location, walking distance to many things.

If you’re looking for a great location with a walking distance to the beach, this is it. We were visiting for the North Carolina Seafood Festival and ended up skipping a large chunk of it because we enjoyed the area near us more. Pros: plenty of stores close by to grab last minute items for the beach (sandals, sunglasses, and bathing suits), not crowded during the first week of October (beginning of off season but better than staying right in Morehead City) enough room for multiple guests Short driving distance to the aquarium, Fort Macon, grocery stores, nail salons etc Very safe - police and fire station are a block away as well If you end up staying here definitely make sure to go to Shark Shack (very walkable), Table 9, Bahia (also very walkable), Mug Shot, and Beaufort, which is a short drive away and has so many cute shops and restaurants on the waterfront.

This is an amazing home at a beautiful, convenient location. It offered everything we needed and more. The pool was just right, and the kids loved the games in the game room. Every room was inviting and comfortable; the only problem was everyone agreeing in which one to hang out. Tracy was incredibly courteous and attentive. The whole process was smooth and efficient. Don’t pass this one up…unless it’s for a time we want to book it!

This is was the perfect cozy beach get away for our family of 3, including a toddler, and two of our friends. The house was beautifully decorated, very clean, equipped with everything from food prep, toddler toys, to beach equipment, had beautiful views, easy check out instructions and a very kind early check in offer. We had a great stay!

A charming house with an unbeatable location, definitely one of our favorite places to stay Down East. 10/10 would stay there again and highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit core sound and avoid the crowds.

We really enjoyed our stay here for the week. It’s very close to the beach, walkable and easy to navigate. The decks and outdoor furniture are comfortable. The beds and indoor furniture were also very comfortable which is nice.

Jeff and Julie’s home was perfect for our family beach trip! The heated pool was clean and the grounds felt private from nearby homes. Jeff and Julie were friendly, accommodating, and helpful leading up to and during our stay. We would absolutely stay here again :)

This was the perfect spot for our two families! The house was very clean, there was plenty of pantry space (huge amenity for us!), room for everyone to spend time together and apart. The kids loved playing in the game room too. Communication was on point! Deanna really thought of everything. Thank you!

Carolina Cabana was perfect for our family beach trip. The house is just as described and located in a quiet area that is close to everything. With two little ones in our group, we loved having the beach so close and a pool in the back yard. Jamie was great to work with and made check in/out so easy. We are already planning our 2025 trip. Matthew's place was a wonderful home away from home. Matthew is a very responsive host and attended to all my questions in a timely manner. The home is very big and the kitchen is fully stocked for any cooking that you want to do. A prefect place for a family gathering. My favorite part is the view of the ocean and proximity of beach access. The home is also in a very quiet neighborhood. That said, the home is next to the community pool which was closed for the winter so I'm not sure what that would be like in the summer. It has been said in other reviews, but know that the home has 3 flights of stairs to reach the kitchen, main master suite and living room. I got my steps in! I really enjoyed my stay and would book again in the future!

Short stay. Everything was great. Place was very clean. Everything you could need was provided. Have stayed in a few of these condos and this was by far the cleanest. We will definitely book again.

Our trip to Harker's Hideaway was very peaceful and relaxing. The private dock and beach was an amazing experience. If you are looking for a place to unplug and just rest, this is a prime location. The island is small and it's not a bustling community but that's not what we went there for. It is a beautiful place amazing sunsets and if you want other things to do they're all within driving distance. (short) We hope to be able to return.

Amazing home in a beautiful community. Short distance from the Beaufort Water Front. Be sure to rent the golf cart. It makes getting around the island easy and enjoyable. Don’t forget to watch for the horses in the evenings.

We really love this place. Andy is a great host, was very helpful and responsive. It is very quite and peaceful.

The house is in a perfect location for access to both the sound and the beach. We were able to bring our boat to enjoy the sound one day and relax on the beach another day. It was great for 4-6 guests to comfortably sleep. Chris was very responsive to our request when the AC unit went out the first night. He was able to respond quickly and get someone onsite within 12 hours to repair!

Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Michael’s beach house. The beds were incredibly comfortable and we all slept so well! Mornings on the patio, eating breakfast with a view of the sea (thanks to a perfect gap between houses), were such a treat. The location was ideal with kids being just steps from the beach and the house is fully stocked for cooking, beach days, and cozy evenings. We also loved being so close to Fort Macon State Park and took daily strolls along the scenic trail system. We’re so grateful to have found this gem on our favorite beach and can’t wait to come back!

The place was excellent. It was PRISTINE, like basically sparkling clean. We had a large group of 8 and were very comfortable the whole time. I've been to a lot of Airbnb rentals, and this one is top tier! The private beach access alone is an EXCELLENT perk, but the house is really great. If I were forced to find a negative, we did get a bit pressed on space for our trash and got low on paper towels and TP. But again, we had a big group so that's hard to keep up with. Also 2 coffee machines, but no included coffee like most Airbnbs. Overall, I can try to knitpick but it was a FANTASTIC stay and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. You found your rental, go ahead and book it!
