Had an amazing stay with the family. We had lots to do from hikes to bon fires. Everything you need from grocery, gas, food and lcbo is less than a 5 min drive from the place. Over all would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

This was our second time at Stephane’s place and it was just as we remembered. A very special place. It is a great place to relax, enjoy some peace and quiet and reconnect with nature. All while listening to some great music and discovering the small amusing details. Thank you for sharing your incredible place. We needed and enjoyed our time here.

I'll admit, based on the reviews our expectations were high. They were exceeded in nearly every facet of our stay. We desperately needed ( election fatigue) to get away and have a week of peace, quiet, and serenity. Danielle and Jorden's home was perfect. there was not one single time while staying there that we looked for something that didn't exist. The bathrooms and kitchen are fabulous, and all are very well appointed. The radiant floors in the ensuite bath were a nice touch. The location is ideal, you are right on the lake with wonderful views from both inside and out, and despite having neighbors, it feels incredibly private. We had one small mechanical issue which Danielle took care of immediately. they were a pleasure to speak with, and their response time was always nearly immediate. The locals were incredibly friendly, the supermarket is just across the lake, and there's a nice dog park for those bringing their fur babies. We look forward to a returning to this ideal spot.

I had a wonderful birthday weekend at this beautiful cottage. The place was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. A peaceful escape that made my celebration truly special.

Staying at Julia’s place was a great experience ! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described (if not better). The space was cozy, stylish, and had all the thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. Everything about our stay was exceptional from the minute we arrived! It was the perfect fall getaway, with a cozy place to stay especially with the beautiful fall leaves changing around us. It was close and convenient to pop in to town, and we just had the best visit! The cottage was well maintained, clean and organized with everything we needed. The hosts were helpful, responsive, and thoughtful throughout our trip. I can’t say enough good things - we couldn’t have picked a better place for our stay!

We had a perfect winter getaway and would be back anytime. The description and pictures shown are accurate, it’s actually more beautiful in person. Loved how well-equipped the place is. From everything you might need in the kitchen&bathroom to the beautiful and thoughtful touches like the inside swing and the coffee table books, games, movies, an array of pillows and blankets to choose from and comfy beds. This place felt like home as soon as we walked in. The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful and feels private even with the neighbouring houses. The sauna is breathtaking and a luxurious addition. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. Caroline was so kind and responsive and graciously extended help during a bad ice storm that happened during our stay. We would come back, 10/10. Thank you for a memorable stay.

The cottages were exactly as described and perfect for a fishing weekend with friends. We found everything we needed and the setup with the bigger cottage allowed for comfortable dining and hangout space for everyone while the smaller cottage provided extra sleeping quarters for all. The property was very clean and tidy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay - nice and quiet area and a great base for exploring Manitou mountain and calabogie peaks resort. Clean and tidy. Recommend!

Myself and 3 ladies so enjoyed this peaceful fun weekend Their Air B&B was the perfect place to unwind, take walks, very clean, beautiful lakefront and sunsets were stunning Close to Carleton Place and Almonte for shopping and terrific restaurants Would certainly recommend.. My wife and I enjoyed another wonderful weekend and this perfect cozy cottage. All aspects of this property are top notch from the location to the construction. Every detail has been thoughtfully addressed to create a comfortable home away from home. Chris and David are the ultimate hosts and always go above and beyond to ensure that we have the best vacation possible. Somehow they were even able to provide beautiful warm sunny weather for our weekend. :)

Katie's cottage was the perfect weekend getaway for us all, and before and throughout the stay she was communicative and helpful. We were a group of 6 adults and we felt extremely comfortable with the amenities and amount of space available, as well as the beautiful lakeview. Katie was also kind enough to leave us with ample cooking supplies and even a s'mores kit and a bottle of sparkling wine! The cottage itself was very cozy and did not feel cramped or aged at all. All in all, it was a fantastic stay and we're bookmarking her place to reserve another trip in the near future!

Absolutely spectacular. Hidden gem! If you are looking for something private but still within a 15-20minute drive to groceries this is the place to stay! You won’t be disappointed. Comfortably holds a family of 6! We had an absolute blast! Stunning property and open concept cottage. Lots of natural light and gorgeous view from the living room! The dock and wrap around deck were absolutely beautiful to enjoy for sunrise and sunset! 2 hour drive to Ottawa and 2 hours to Gatineau National Park! Highly recommend the drive into Gatineau park! And Pink Salmon trail! If you have fur babies, this park is very restricted due to the sensitive eco system! Really cute shops and restaurants in downtown Ottawa and in Gatineau Park! We absolutely will be coming back (: Thank you Rachael for being an incredible host! Very responsive to requests and very accommodating !

Ellen’s place was so clean and inviting. I didn’t want to leave! The beds and couches were comfortable and the view was amazing. Definitely recommend staying here!

Très bel endroit, calme et intime. Tout est pensé, tout est indiqué et clair, service impeccable, très facile de communiquer avec l'hôte! On y retournera c'est sur et plus longtemps pour pouvoir en profiter encore plus!

We had a wonderful stay! We had gloriously warm, sunny weather every day, with not a drop of rain. It was just the two of us so we opted to stay in the beautiful, cozy boathouse. It had everything we needed. The summer kitchen is basic but very functional and served our needs. The boathouse is very private and the surroundings were quiet. Just be ready for the stairs down from the main house/parking area. They’re steep but well lit, with lots of handrails. There’s a very cool screened building halfway down too. The swimming is fantastic - it’s deep off the dock and the water was really clear. Every day we swam, lounged on the dock, had coffee on the balcony, took afternoon naps, BBQ’d, and enjoyed drinks by the campfire. A truly restful vacation. James was a great and very responsive host. We highly recommend staying here!
