Cute Airbnb perfect for a couples getaway weekend. Perfectly located close to numerous coffee shops, hikes, fishing and restaurants.

Sweet guest cottage in the mountains. Theme decor is very welcoming and comfortable. Gives rustic chic vibes. Feels spacious. Sofa bed linens and mattress pad made for a v comfortable place to sleep. Two bathrooms and ample hot water and towels. Up a steep hill, choose the one minute longer route up Possum vs Sunset road and it is not as twisty and steep. Probably not a walk to town kind of place due to the hillside perch but close enough that you wont mind the quick drive. We saw deer, bunnies and a bear in the neighborhood. Thoughtful host, lots of nice little touches (S'MORES!!!!).

I absolutely loved my stay with Nancy. One of one host and experience. Stunning property! She was extremely responsive, kind, and helpful. We had a wonderful time talking with her and learning about the area and her property. Her home was gorgeous and full of places to explore and things to do. I'll definitely be returning and taking pottery lessons next time!

This place was wonderful. The open kitchen and living room concept made cooking social and fun. There was tons of land for my dog to run around. Overall, it was a very wholesome trip. Thank you, Connie for your wonderful home.

This house is impeccable! It has everything you could need, and the hosts are absolutely amazing. The personal touches, communication, and overall experience were bar none. We enjoyed the wild turkeys and the deer roaming the property; it was a true sanctuary for relaxation and a great place to recharge. The cleanliness of the house was perfect, and the attention to detail in every room was remarkable, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The cozy furnishings and beautiful decor created a warm and inviting atmosphere, while the well-equipped kitchen made meal preparation a joy. We particularly loved the outdoor space, where we could soak up the sun and enjoy the serene surroundings. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, providing local recommendations and being readily available for any questions we had. We had a short but great visit! The house was just as described. Everything we needed was there! Loved the scenery, and the cows were an added bonus! My daughter loved the pirate ship play area. We hope to be back again this fall!

I stayed here for three months as I was looking for a place to relocate and I absolutely loved my stay here! It is a beautiful location, where you can see the lake and so much access to many hiking trails. The Airbnb is adorable and both my dog and I felt right at home. David was an incredible host and was super proactive to seeing what I needed or ways to make my stay better. The day I came was a huge snow storm and I mentioned how my car doesn’t drive well in the snow and he came and completely cleared my parking spot. There was an also a time I had car troubles and he was able to give his trusty mechanic’s number. David went above and beyond in my stay there even offered to grab things while they were closer in town. Some things to be mindful of is the location is a on a busy road and cell service is not great in the area so if you are looking to unplug this is perfect! I would absolutely stay here again and will recommend it to all my family visiting!

Our entire experience was amazing. Darren was extremely helpful and accommodating. The property is beautiful with a lot of things for the whole family. We will definitely be returning for another visit. Darren went above and beyond.

Our family had the best time. This trip was one of, if not the best vacations we have ever had. That is in large part thanks to our hosts and their beautiful home! We enjoyed every minute, from booking to checkout. We would visit here again.

It's a really charming, comfortable, clean, and quiet place. It has the best kitchen equipment of any place I've stayed: a large set of dish- and glassware, pots and pans, plush towels, comfortable bed. The host communicated well and quickly. I would definitely return.

I loved every second of my stay at the Creekside Cottage. It was so cozy & homey. It was so easy to relax and feel right at home. Robert did an amazing job at maintaining the home and providing everything a guest could need. I will definitely be back and I strongly recommend this stay to everyone!

Hard to limit my glowing review of this place to 1,000 words, but want to clearly share how awesome this jewel of a getaway is. My wife and I were only able to enjoy a one-day stay this time, but will almost certainly be back! The house is absolutely adorable. Very comfortable in every respect and every possible amenity. The house felt “made” for us in so many ways; from the beautiful music playing when we entered, to the amazing screened porch and deck (with great sound system I could just connect to my phone), to the stunning view, picturesque grounds, and the sounds of the babbling brook - it made us at peace and it was very difficult to leave. Internet was solid (impressive for where home is located), kitchen great, and bedroom and bath perfect. Oh! And almost forgot to mention the cookies left for us by Jindra! 🥰 Such a wonderful treat, and Jindra was consummate host as well - making sure everything was great. We look forward to returning and staying longer next time!!

Went to enjoy the river and relax. It met all expectations. It’s a peaceful place right on the river. A lot of wildlife in the area…deer, wild turkey, hawks, geese, ducks, fireflies. Very easy access for fishing and the river has plenty of trout. Adjacent to laurel creek waterfalls which was a simple hike and good swimming holes. Very clean and welcoming and had all the amenities we needed. Didn’t want to leave and would definitely stay there again.

So charming and close to all the things we needed to attend yet we felt as though we were secluded enough to enjoy a private little weekend.

The location was perfect very quiet and peaceful. We were here to attend the nascar races in Bristol. We were highly sastified how easy it was to go back and forth to the track. We enjoyed exploring the historic town of Elizabethton. Erol was a great host. His communication as well as his accomodations were outstanding. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful warmth and loving atmosphere. I can't say enough.

Excellent stay in Boone right down the road from family we were visiting so the location was perfect. The place felt extremely cozy in a good way with the fire so easy to use and warm up after a day out. We used the gas grill one night and cooked inside and the kitchen was well stocked for that. The bed was very comfortable and it was nice waking hearing the roosters. Will definitely stay here again next time we’re in town.

Perfect stay close to everything. Check in was effortless and easy. The fireplace heated the room up well. The bed was the most comfy one I’ve ever been on. Highly recommend

The location for our visits to this area is perfect. Close to family and friends who live in the area yet secluded enough for us to still feel like we are getting away. The house had all we needed for a couple of days. The creek and hot tub are so nice.

I loved my stay at The Red House. It was a cozy and creative place to call home for a few days. As described, it was a short walk to all the studios and buildings on the Penland campus. Unfortunately my stay was cut short courtesy of Hurricane Helene, but I will definitely be back!
