Two large decks with furniture and fire pit are great for outdoor BBQ's and just watching the wildlife. Otters, beaver, deer, ducks, geese and swans make the back yard their home. There are 6 bikes, river tubes and a ping pong table in the garage. Come and enjoy, I guarantee you will want to come back!

Steelhead Falls Log Cabin

Enjoy a restful time in our waterfront log cabin along the Deschutes River. Location is perfect for watching wildlife, fly fishing, quiet relaxation, and has easy access to hiking and rock climbing at Smith Rock and Lake Billy Chinook. Steelhead Falls is a a short hike away. Bend and Sisters are near. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate even small weddings. We recommend access to AWD vehicle with either chains or snow tires in winter. Dog friendly- sorry, no cats.

Riverside Cottage - Just Steps from the Deschutes

Here at “Otter Site” you will be a few steps away from the water, and you’ll feel completely immersed in nature with a huge picture window with a breathtaking view of the Deschutes River. You’ll have room for up to 4 on the queen bed, and the twin trundle beds. There’s a perfectly equipped kitchenette, a full bathroom, and tinted windows for privacy. Bring along 2 pets for an additional fee, and make the most of access to the indoor pool from 9:00 AM-10:00 PM daily!

Our home is the perfect base to explore central Oregon. Located midway between Bend ,Redmond and Sisters,Tumalo is a great spot to experience all the fun our region offers. Midway between Mt Bachelor and Hoodoo it’s the perfect spot for a spring ski break.
