Our incredible 4-bedroom home is situated on 2 beautiful secluded acres in picture perfect Monterey - the quintessential Berkshire County getaway, with modern kitchen, screened porch, 2 fireplaces a fabulous outdoor hot tub and a beautiful brook on the property. Enjoy hiking the Appalachian Trail in nearby Beartown State Forest or kayaking and swimming in the incomparable Lake Garfield. We are a quick ride to Ski Butternut, Catamount, Tanglewood, Lenox and Great Barrington.

Wildlife Lakeside Cottage; views/wildlife

Fully furnished and remodeled with new upgrades in Spring 2025 including a cathedral master bedroom suite with a full bath. Our private cottage is set on a peninsula at a cove where a trout stream enters the lake. Incredible amount of wildlife, especially all types of birds. The home has sunny views everywhere. Seasonal weeds do grow in the adjacent lake which can impact water activities, especially in the summer months. Sleeps 6. Ther are two full and one 1/2 baths.

This house is located in peaceful Monterey less than a miles walk from the lake. Relax and unwind on the lovely grounds, cook up some food for friends out on the back patio, or take a short drive down to the town beach where a couple of kayaks will be waiting for you. After your paddle, rinse off in the outdoor shower and finish the night off outside by the fire. Doesn't get much better than this home nestled right into the lakeside community that is Monterey.
