Joey and house manager Alex were responsive and very easy to communicate with. They made sure the house met our needs and that we were comfortable. The home was meticulously clean, well appointed with a fantastic view on the Albemarle Sound. I would definitely rent this house and recommend it!

Wonderful place for a girls weekend getaway! We enjoyed our stay! Close to downtown and in a nice neighborhood!

From the homemade cookies to the great outdoor swing with the peaceful river view, you will find it hard to leave! Beautifully designed, everything that you need and more…and the large soaking tub…totally relaxing! If you are looking for a peaceful river front stay, you found a new favorite spot here with Kay! No matter which property you choose, expect to be impressed! A must to stop in town to see the shops in Edenton, walk the riverfront, learn a bit of the town’s history, and enjoy some lemon cheesecake ice cream! Grab some groceries before heading back to the airBnB and enjoy being away from the hug city! We loved our stay and can’t wait to get back again!

We had a very nice time. The home location was very convenient to downtown. It was just a short drive. The home was very clean and cozy. The hottub was great as was the rest of the outdoor area. If the weather had been warmer, we would have been out there most of the time. A lot of natural light in the home. The home is very private. The mattresses are extra firm for those who prefer that. We would definitely stay there again.

This is an adorable historic home, safe neighborhood, and easy 6 block walk to the downtown shopping and dining. Our only complaint was about the beds. The master bedroom (down) is comfy and spacious. The beds upstairs were less than comfortable and single beds. In fact, one was a day bed that was too short for any of us girls. Definitely needs better mattresses, but the house, the charm, the walkability, the town all made up for the not-perfect sleeping. We would definitely rent again, but probably not for 4 people.

We really enjoyed our stay here and wish we could have stayed longer! We were only there one night, but were able to enjoy the sun set on the dock. If we are ever back in the area, would definitely stay again!

This home was super quiet set in a rural area. You can literally sit outside and have the most peaceful experience in this setting. The home was definitely a country home super cute and quaint, but please be mindful this is a animal friendly home. The host responded and adjusted things that I had concerns about in a timely manner. Lindas home had menues to local restaurants which i found super helpful we used a few and we all were super surprised as to how good the food tasted. Everything was in working order.

Very pleasant stay. House was exceptionally clean. Details were accurate for check-in, check-out, etc. Great for pets - there is no trace that they were ever there. Good size & grassy back yard for those walks. Victoria made a great effort to communicate with us. We now have family in the area and expect to return!

What an incredible slice of heaven at Ginny's Place! Spent a few days with my family to get away and reconnect and couldn't ask for a better place! The view of the river is incredible, I spent every morning there with a cup of coffee before anyone got up and soaked in the peace and calm the Chowan River had to offer. The house is beautifully decorated and felt very warm and inviting. My kids had a wonderful time fishing off the dock and my son had his first experience with the provided kayak and that made for beautiful pictures and memories. One thing I should of looked up was the proximity of a Tesla charging station, 45 mins to the closest charger was at least manageable. There is a country store, hardware store and a deli all within 10 minutes and had most of the items we needed. Food Lion is 15 minutes away and so is downtown Edenton. We had dinner at the Herringbone and it was amazing! Their sweet tea and local fish was absolutely delicious. Book this place, you will not regret it
