It was a perfect Escape! We recently spent a night at this charming Airbnb, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everything was perfect from start to finish! Our host was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property is a true gem, complete with not only cattle but also adorable goats and their playful kids. Watching them frolic around the pasture was a delightful highlight of our visit! The sounds of the farm animals, along with the serene countryside views, created a peaceful ambiance that we thoroughly enjoyed. The property itself felt safe, secure, and wonderfully secluded, providing us with the peace and privacy we were looking for. We appreciated the opportunity to connect with nature and observe the animals up close. We highly recommend this lovely retreat to anyone seeking a tranquil escape. It’s a perfect getaway for couples.

Bradley was a very responsive host with an amazing home. It was exactly as described!

Our stay at the cabin was great! We encountered one minor issue with a broken wine glass, but Jordan was very responsive and offered a quick replacement. A tip for enjoying the hot tub: remember to keep the insulating cover on when not in use, as we found the unit is not powerful enough to keep it warm for repeated dips without it. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time.

The view was incredible, every morning seeing the sunset over the mountains was breathtaking. The stay was great, the local market was awesome, the overlooks were so beautiful. The host was fantastic and extremely responsive. I would like to recommend that if you want an amazing experience in the mountains I advise you to make a trip and see this amazing property. You will absolutely fall in love with it as we did.

Great place in Wintergreen! We stayed in Spring and everything was quiet and the foliage was vibrant. Our family went hiking and exploring everyday, and enjoyed the food and drink down in the valley. There is a nice trail in Wintergreen if you can find the overlook off Old Appalachian trail. Hot tub was a plus for sure! Enjoyed the trails in the neighborhood and watching the golfers. All the amenities you could ask for and a clean tidy home!

I live not too far from the area but wanted a little getaway to relax and enjoy some time alone. The place is absolutely beautiful, quiet and peaceful. I will definitely be back!

I stayed in the cabin on the river, I must say it was probably the best few days I’ve ever had. Such a beautiful and peaceful set up, not to mention the farm as a whole was amazing. I will definitely be back!

Was a great way to be out doors but not in a tent! The creek was our favorite. No need to go anywhere our whole stay. Wonderfully dark and quiet at night . A great get away

Though I live close by in Cary, I needed a quiet retreat to finish writing my book and Barbara's place was perfect! Thoughtful touches throughout the home, incredibly clean, the kitchen is stocked with everything you might need to cook as if you were at home, and Barbara's communication was exceptional. I highly recommend this place for everyone as it's great for solo travelers, couples, or families. Make sure you have a sit in the hanging chair in the living room - it's delightful :) Thanks, Barbara!

My husband and I had a peaceful and relaxing stay at this cozy cabin. We stayed 3 nights. We spent a lot of time by the river fishing while I was enjoying my reading. We are seniors but managed to climb up and down the steep hill which we became used to by using the roots of the big trees as our "stepping stone". By the time we got up the cabin we worked ourselves to a big appetite. Enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and eating out in the porch listening to the birds. Waking up to the sunrise view through your bedroom window is Amazing. Would really love to come back again. Thanks for welcoming us. Best Airbnb stay we've had so far for a refreshing retreat.

This cabin is precisely what dreams are made of. Genuinely secluded, you actually feel alone on the planet. The drive up the mountain is a trip of its own. I ignored the host’s recommendation for 4 wheel drive and did it in my Nissan Altima. It’s doable, but if you have a 4x4 it’s definitely a better choice. The cabin itself is perfect, beautifully decorated, well maintained, and stocked with anything you might need. The views though, that’s a whole different story. I’ve been to some beautiful places in my travels, but I’ve never been so well situated in a vista. The scope of the view is simply uncapturable on a camera, and trust me, I tried. Highly recommend waking early to catch the sunrise. Hosts were responsive and knowledgeable, but totally unbothersome. The perfect mix. Overall rating: 10/10 zero complaints no notes. Every human deserves to experience the beauty and calm of this spot, and that includes you.

I am running a program out of this home all year long and we have 4 retreats at the property which I'll write a review for each time we stay. We got to experience the season of winter in January complete with a beautiful snowfall the last day of our trip. This time, we got to experience the spring...the season of rebirth. I am grateful for everything the home and land provided to us during this last experience. The home feels like our home while we are there and it has everything we need. Thank you so much!

The setting of the cabin was a show stopper! The wrap around deck was the perfect spot for morning coffee and griddle cooked lunches! The inside was homey and comfortable with a variety of sleeping options. also, plenty of space inside for game nights and group hangs. the unexpected highlight was the trampoline! host did a great job proactively xommunicatunf some unique expectations, like the need for 4WD vehicles to get to the top of the mountain and a somewhat rustic rural environment. would definitely stay here again with friends!

We had a great stay at the cabin, such a beautiful setting! Loved the privacy and the dogs especially appreciated the fenced in yard. Hosts were quick to respond if we had any questions. The cabin had a great layout, very easy to feel right at home. The rain shower in the bathroom was definitely hard to leave! Very convenient to Charlottesville, restaurants (Jack’s nearby was a favorite for Bfast/lunch!), and walks. Would rent again!

Great place to stay for rest, relaxation, peace and quiet. In my short time there, I saw a wild turkey, a fox, an otter, red wing black birds, a woodpecker, and cardinals. And at night, I heard tree frogs and an owl was really close by. Terri is wonderful as a host!

Margo was a great host and very flexible. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend Margo's place to anyone looking to stay in the area. The golf cart is a great addition to the property.

Amazing stay! I was here for a work trip and it was just what I needed- comfortable bed and peace and quiet! I would recommend this cabin to anyone.
