The Wissahickon Inn - The Cozy Cabin In The Woods

You'll love our cabin in the woods! Once a historic mercantile, the Wissahickon Cabin has been transformed into a cozy cabin for 2 - 4 guests. The cabin is situated in the forest and visible from the Gandy Dancer Trail. The front porch boasts an access path directly to the popular Woolly Bike Trail. Our cabin is secluded in the woods, but it's less than a 5-minute drive to downtown St Croix Falls, Interstate Park, dining, shopping, and entertainment. Enjoy a peaceful getaway in the north woods!

Enjoy your stay in Minneapolis in a custom-designed home in a safe and charming cul-de-sac neighborhood on the bank of the Mississippi River near downtown Minneapolis in the Historic Milling District and NE Arts & Entertainment District. This home may not be suitable for infants because of an open stairwell. (Allergy alert: a dog lives here, but not during your stay. Snow removal/lawn mowing is provided. This is our primary home that we make available while we are traveling. Dogs not allowed.

We may ask for identification for adults staying at the house. If asked, this will be needed in order to keep your reservation confirmed.

Only registered guests listed on the reservation may be on the property. The home is not suitable for parties or open-invite gatherings. There are several popular wedding venues nearby including Courtyards of Andover, Bunker Hills Event Center, and White & Sable.

Above the suite is a private tattoo studio — you might hear a little light foot traffic during Monday to Friday (10 AM to 5 PM), but it’s delightfully quiet otherwise. Note for our taller friends: the ceilings are 6 feet 10 inches high, with a few cozy spots at 6 feet. (Dogs CAN NOT be left alone at Airbnb)

We do live in the home, but when guests rent we spend the time at our cabin, so you would have the house to yourselves.
