Lovely house. Everybody is very helpful and always available. Only thing is, if you want to book any activity or taxi from cebu, try booking it on your own and not through them. Huge price difference for the same services and experiences. We did this mistake and booked few things from them, and later when we got to know the real prices, it was shocking.

Highly recommend! Place is pet friendly. Easy to find. Near establishment (Restos and attractions). Peaceful and quiet, the staff is friendly and the owner is very responsive.

My family recently had the pleasure of staying at the French Villa Santander, and it was a lovely experience. From the moment we booked, arrived and checked-out, the host and the caretakers ensured our comfort and satisfaction. The luxurious accommodation made our stay truly relaxing and feeling home away from home. My family want to stay in this villa again. More so, the villa’s location is just a few minutes drive to Oslob Whale Shark Watching location. We highly recommend this place.

Lovely place, birthday well spent as the house is very homey and is capable to Host large group. You get to interact with the pawikans as well as they linger in the beach premises.

Es war ein toller Aufenthalt, vor allem der riesige Balkon hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Von der Unterkunft aus kann man Baby Haie im Wasser sehen. Es gibt kostenlos Trinkwasser.

The place is really nice. Good food good staff. Everything is well. We’re glad to spend our New Year’s Eve in this place.

Top verblijf met vriendelijk personeel. Ze waren erg meedenken om activiteiten te doen. Maar ook met het regelen van vervoer.

A very beautiful home in a lovely setting. Very picturesque right on the beach. We loved the pool it was perfect. Fair warning the road coming in is quite rough, you wouldn’t want to be driving a car in and out more than once a day. We opted to cook most of our meals instead of going to restaurants. Great location for canyoneering at Kawasan falls and also not too far from Oslob for the whale sharks. The caretakers that were on the property were attentive and lovely. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a remote getaway, it was very quiet and relaxing. Thank you so much :)

The charged bill of the electrcity is understandable since the rate of the electric company is quite high. all in all my experience in the place is so far great. Place will recharge you sea windy breeze, view is amazing and the place is so solemn my mind is full charge. Thanks jake and ate erma all in all the price is justified the electricity bill.

wouldn't choose any other place to stay with my friends. Jesa even gave us extra time post checkout to wait for our flight. 10/10

We had some nice days at this Villa. It was really clean and the hosts are really nice (we were able to check in earlier and to do a late Check out for an extra Price). Only the oven and one fan didnt work, apart from that the stay was absolutely great.

The place was very big, better than staying in a small hotel room and had a nice large outside balcony. Air-conditioning and Wi-Fi worked well. We liked that it had all the amenities you need for cooking and reheating and having a fridge freezer to have cold drinks with ice was great. The garden was well kept and the shared pool was very clean and inviting. The host was very responsive to a few queries we had and the spa bath was a nice touch, we only used it once on our last night wish I had tried it earlier. Guard there 24 hours and the maintenance / gardener guy was very friendly. Nice place away from the noise and not too far of a walk to Alona beach area, no real need for a tricycle but they are available just out side the gate most times. Just watch that you don't get over charged like our first trip, we new the going rate from then on. Hired a car for a day/night and was able to park it securely for only 100 peso a day. I think if you rent motor bike Its free.

The place is great, quiet and peaceful. Great for relaxation. The host/ owners are very accommodating. Their place has electricity already and a backup generator. Nothing to worry about the effect of typhoon, they are ready to serve.

Very pleasant stay. Great location. Building has very nice restaurant and store. Pool area is private, quiet and nice temperature. Overall we recommend!!!

Loved our stay! Staff were awesome - super friendly, very attentive and helpful. the place was clean, comfy. FWIW it's actually a small resort with little villas (called Flower Garden Resort). We did not know that - and thus initially could not find the place. Eventually a stranger walking past to help us find it - as the building mapped to the airBNB listing is actually a few doors down.

A beautiful, peaceful escape from the city. John, the host, was incredibly helpful and arranged everything so we could reach the island with ease. The place is remote with stunning views, a serene beach, and little to no cell signal—perfect for a digital detox. But no worries if you need to connect—the resort has fast Wi-Fi. Special mention to Aden Khalil, the sweetest boy I played with every morning—his energy and smile made my days brighter! The locals were warm, respectful, and never intrusive, unlike in other more crowded islands. Bring your own snorkel gear—there’s vibrant marine life just steps from shore. I also recommend planning your meals ahead and bringing supplies from the mainland. If you prefer not to cook, nearby resorts are happy to serve walk-in guests—just inform them before 4PM so they can prepare. Everything about this place felt genuine, calm, and recharging. Would love to return and stay even longer next time. A true hidden gem worth experiencing.

It’s perfect for my big family. Everyone was comfortable. We enjoyed the clean pool. Care takers are very helpful.

Stephen was a great host. Perfect place for nature lovers. If you are concerned with dogs, geckos and frogs, you might need to think twice before staying here. The pool here is well maintained and peaceful. There's a sitout by the pool where you can chill and have a great conversation with Stephen when he's around. Loved the place overall

Our stay was lovely. With your own private gate to a coral reef at the bottom of the garden and a stunning view to match, you could not be in better surroundings. Chin Chin and Litho, our caretakers, took care of any requests we had when we asked them. There are a few local eateries within a few minutes' walk from the property and you can get a bus into Dumaguete right outside the house - it takes about 45 minutes. The only things to note are the numerous cockerals that crow at all hours and the fact that the water pressure in the shower is quite low. Apart from this, if you love being off the beaten track and you want a slice of local culture, then this is the place for you!

I was travelling with my elderly mom and my young daughter. My mom appreciated the daily housekeeping, my kid loved the pool. For me, what stood out was the location - not too far from key areas but away from the crowded touristy parts. The only concern I raised was the internet - it was weak and kept getting disconnected. It meant I couldn't get some online work done, but also that I just had to surrender to relaxing in Sofia's place. 🙂 And yes, there is a new, friendly owner. Some issues I've previously read in google reviews would no longer be true. 😏

My stay was great and the hosts are very friendly and helpful with everything. Even got local recommendations and the shops and restaurants know the hosts by name as they are well known residents. Great place, close to areas of interest and also right next to motorcycle rental. overall, recommend this place and will be back again.

Nous avons été enchantés de notre séjour. Le logement est impeccable avec beaucoup d'attention portée aux petits détails, rien ne manque. Peter et Rowena sont toujours disponibles sans jamais être envahissants. L'un des points décisifs qui avait retenu notre attention est l'accès direct à la mer et nous n'avons pas été déçus, l'endroit est parfait pour le snorkeling et la plongée. C'est très calme, de jour comme de nuit. La contrepartie est qu'il faut un moyen de transport mais nous avions une voiture donc pas de souci pour nous. Merci pour votre accueil et ne changez rien, tout est parfait.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön. Kleiner abgelegener Strand vor der Haustür (mit Schildkröten, Achtung aber viele Treppen zu gehen), Tumalog Falls und Waleshark Area sehr nah und auch mit einem kleinen Fussmarsch zu erreichen. Ansonsten fahren auch Busse direkt vor der Tür, mit denen man überall hingelangt. Unterkunft ist etwas abgelegen dafür sehr privat. Der Host war zudem sehr nett und hat und mit der Buchung unserer Touren toll geholfen! Danke dafür! Ich kann diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.
