Nestled in the heart of Wisconsin's Driftless area, a remote, lovely, nearly-wild kingdom, easy driving distance from Chicago and Madison. 45 minutes to Taliesin, 10 minutes to the Wisconsin River, epic bike rides out the front door.

Knotty Pine Rental - Rolling Ground

Knotty Pine Rental is in the heart of all that the Driftless Area has to offer with small town hospitality. Enjoy the days hiking, fishing, visiting local flea/farmers markets, apple orchards, strawberry picking, utv trails, and so much more. We offer free wifi, cable television in the great room, as well as the bed room, small variety of family games, and a deck to enjoy the sunsets. We have a large yard area, lots of parking, and the option to enjoy some taste food at the bar and grill below.

Build a warm fire outdoors/ warm up by the gas stove indoors, or go down to the stream for a sauna by the cool water creek.

Open concept with a two story fireplace, porch fireplace, firepit, and open loft for sleeping (1 bed), with spiral stairs, lots of windows, walnut floors and trim, oak beams and pine kitchen tops. Shower is big and open, with doors opening to a back deck for outdoor showering. Beautiful covered porch overlooking rolling meadows and woods.

The Sweet Suite is an upper duplex unit. We are located in the middle of the Driftless Area known for its scenic beauty and charm. A comfortable country atmosphere ideal for relaxation. After crossing a narrow path along the lake you will find the entrance to the Spring Water Retreat at Mill Creek Cabins. The remains of an old farmhouse now welcome our guests to a warm, secure, escape from the everyday. This secluded space is the perfect place to relax in the woods.​ With no TV and large windows looking out over the lake, the focus is on the outdoors. Despite the remote location, a high-speed internet connection is available to keep you connected throughout your stay. ​

Secluded farmhouse with glass hot tub room 600 acres of private trails to hike and explore the cave. Bring your UTV and ride the trails for $30 per driver and $10 per passenger or rent a UTV for $300. Close to trout fishing stream or Mississippi for fishing. Approx 15 miles from Prairie Du Chein, close to canoeing for the Kickapoo, Wisconsin river. Has a gas & charcoal grill, pool table, firepit, Smart TV. Private trails closed Oct 15th thru mid Feb There is Access to public UTV trails.

Comfortable Amish built cabin located in the Driftless Area of Southwest Wisconsin, close to area towns but still in a private setting. We are close to many area attractions including the Wisconsin River, House on the Rock, Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin, The American Players Theater, Wisconsin Dells, and much more! The cabin is an ideal place to relax for both couples or families who would like to escape the city and spend some time in nature.

One Bedroom with Kitchenette - Red Door

Our convenient in-town one-bedroom has recently been converted! One room has a queen bed, other room as a comfy fold out couch. It has a well-equipped kitchenette with a sink, microwave, apartment fridge/freezer, Kuerig coffee maker and more. It also has a full bath. This apartment is on Main Street and can be a bit noisy from the traffic during the day and in the morning. It is generally quieter at night but bring earplugs if this bothers you.
